After four gorgeous Shaw Brothers box sets - and two on the side - from Shout Factory, I wanted to put out a video of encouragement to them in what I feel would make a good fifth and final collection. I even mocked up a quick piece of cover art to help!

Great picks! In fact you've listed several of my favourite Shaw Brothers movies of all time (Demon of the Lute rocks!). Personally I would like to add to the list Amorous Woman of the Tang Dynasty, a searing underrated Category III style historical drama, and Journey of the Doomed. If only because the latter was the very last Shaw Brothers wu die and it's interesting to see their last word on the genre.
lotsa fun movies - i haven’t seen the contemporary ones … also I think Bastard Swordsman will be on Shawscope 3 so technically you get a bonus movie

There are some superb overlooked titles in this list. It's my favourite period for the studio because I think they were just so creative and inventive. Some of the titles have been put out My favourite under appreciated film from their twilight is What price honesty? More people need to see it. Good stuff mister.

Absolutely! Some fantastic films from this period. Yeah, I see Spectrum Films have put a number of them out, but I'd still love one last box from Shout lol Thanks for watching!

@@invincibleasiaofficial I just ordered IRON CHAIN ASSASSIN (Ti Lung) from Germany 🇩🇪 seeing ARROW isn’t putting than one ☝️ out.
I was hoping they would have done a full set of Shaw Brothers horror and released it through the Scream Factory sub label. Could have included Black Magic 1 & 2, Hex, Bewitched, The Oily Manic and so on.
