“Not linked to any act of terrorism”. Because it’s a IC1 male the excuse will be mental health. If this was a male from any other ethnic group, firearm officers would’ve probably been deployed earlier. The specialist firearm unit only arrived once the male was tasered. This also gives me the impression that they wanted other response officers to deal with the incident prior to their arrival. This is because they don’t have enough grounds to take a shot and not trained enough to be in situations like this. There should’ve been a quicker reaction from the police team, firearm officers should’ve been first on scene.

...and if the police were armed, the 14 year old would still be alive.
