The Mali Boys: How London’s Most Feared Gang Run Drugs, Guns And Violence Across The Capital

In recent years, London has been plagued by a surge in gang violence and knife crime, leaving communities devastated and young lives tragically cut short. The rise of notorious gangs like the Mali Boys has brought attention to the issue, shedding light on the complex factors that contribute to this alarming trend. With over 1,500 knife crime incidents reported this year alone, it is clear that urgent action is needed to address the root causes and find solutions to tackle this epidemic.
The Rise of Gangs and Zombie Knives:
The Mali Boys, a gang operating in East London, has gained notoriety for its involvement in violent crimes such as murder and arson. They have been accused of exploiting young children and controlling the drug trade in the area. One weapon commonly associated with these gangs is the zombie knife, a deadly weapon that can be easily purchased online. The lack of regulation surrounding the sale of these weapons has raised concerns and led to calls for stricter measures.

I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to heroin. Spent my whole life fighting heroin addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Congrats! I'm really happy for you that your wife decided to help you. I always admire those who beat their addiction. Knowing it's possible to fix your life knowing there's people out there that have done what I thought was impossible gives me hope I will make it through as well. Those who share their experiences don't know how much it helps when you're about to give up, it gives you the strength knowing somone who actully know what it's like to go through this tell you it's possible, it's not the same somone telling you you can do it when they have no idea what it's like, but hearing somone who knows what it's like that helps a lot since you understand it firsthand and made it out gives so much hope. so thanks for sharing.

I think you misunderstood... The point was, someone has taken a knife from the kitchen to protect themselves. The sole purpose was for protection, which yes as we know isn't right from the get go... Now, that knife is on the person, it's there in their pocket, trousers, bag whatever.. Its in reach. Someone makes that person angry or bullies, or teases. Irrationally, the person reaches for the knife they had and uses it... If that knife wasn't on the person for protection, it wasn't used when they were angry Imagine your father throwing a slipper at you. If it wasn't cold he wasn't having a slipper on his foot to throw, he got angry and used what he had on his person. Obviously a reach of an example but that was the point

Speed limits, because some individuals can't be trusted. cctv, because some individuals cant be trusted. bus drivers behind an entire plastic screen, because some individuals can't be trusted Of course, like most things, it's a generalisation. A child who doesn't understand consequences wouldn't have an issue using the stanley knife in your situation, but you've got self control and know right from wrong. These kids are stabbing left right and centre with no remorse for the families or the fact they've actually ended a life. Did you have a traumatic upbringing and parents who were drug dependent, violent or criminals? I’m hoping and feel sure that the answer to all of these is no. The main people selling drugs at street level and robbing people tend to suffer with some, sometimes all of the things I mentioned above. Many of them don’t even have the money you think they do and if they do earn it, they don’t know how to spend is wisely and mainly still end up broke. That life is not what you think it is and I feel sure that if you spent one week in it, even if you earned a lot, you’d be grateful to return back to your mundane 9-5 life. The real ones who buy houses and earn a lot are the ones people don’t usually see or suspect and the ones the police tend not to catch.

Sorry, but I disagree. I am from Canada, there is not a day that I, my son and my Grandson walk out the front door without a knife strapped to us. We are Rancher, it's a tool for us, we go to town shopping or a pub, and no one even bats on eye at the sight of a knife. Never in my 68 years have I seen any issues with people carrying knives, we have seen lots of scraps and punch ups at bars, but no one pull out a knife. Could be because most folk have gun in the truck.

Most of the parents are regretting right now, majority are single mother's who work back to back to boost lifestyle and forgot their children, most of this kids have never been loved or taken care of, they ask parents to buy them simple clothes and parents always saying theirs no money, and crying sympathy, where do you leave such a kid?some go without a meal because the mother is investing back in Africa and others paying finance care, it's sad. Whose child is he ?? Most of them are bitter and angry, they need help.

Well I’ll answer that No it’s due to social and economical reasons if they were from high income backgrounds would they be involved highly unlikely, joining firms unifies and provides a sense of brotherhood or care that these individuals might not have received in life.

Not sure the troops would want someone with no discipline or respect amoung their ranks though. Bringing back National service seems like it might help bring some discipline and respect to these young fools. And help find them a proper trade. I grew up in similar conditions. Let's be honest, it's the parents and other adults that are responsible for kids being in gangs. If they are taught from an early age to not steal, to treat others with respect, get a job, be an entrepreneur, etc then I am sure they wouldn't be as many gangs out there. Then there is the people that consume the drugs. most if not all gangs operate on selling drugs. If we stopped people consuming drugs then there wouldn't be sellers.

Environments can influence people, but everyone has a choice. Coming from a deprived environment myself gave me more fuel to get out and make something of my life. That is an edge over others which should be utilised. Falling into trap is the individuals choice and decision. No one is false, and this should not be excused. If you’re deprived then do something about. If your parents didn’t do it for you, then do it yourself and your future generations.

U for real? Believe that a 30 strong mob of kids that are duped into a brotherhood mentality are not gonna retaliate. You live in the inner cities and night or day, you avoid avoid avoid these packs for a very very good reason. They are not old enough to know the true consequences of what they can do in a minute without thinking of anything but their standing amongst their peers. You didn't hear the statistic of how many teenagers are killing ppl? Gangsta may terrorise them but wo betide if they can place him, his home, his loved ones.

Yeah. Sign me up to live in an oppressive country where the screws are so tight nobody can do anything. The places in the USA where crime and violence are the worst are the ones with the least freedom. In the places where we can carry guns to protect ourselves, this sort of thing doesn't happen with measurable frequency. There is one common, easily-seen thread with all the urban violence and crime that is portrayed daily. I wonder if you noticed.
