Being a first generation citizen do not help them there are many good people that do come to work and not to ask the government for hand out we are Mexican American and my husband is a 25 year veteran and my parents are proud real migrants which worked in the fields, picking fruits and vegetables, I teach English. These new people which come from Dictatorships and Socialism type of governments do not know how to work and everything gets given to them. My parents never asked for welfare or food stamps they taught us to work for what we wanted. All my siblings are professional people and good people no one landed in jail. Please do not give these pests anything free.

I've been calling for the full bodycam to be released, before judging what happened here. The cops initiated the first unlawful physical contact multiple times. While the yellow jacket guy was walking away, pushing the stroller, the cop grabs him from the back, then shoved him into the wall. While against the wall with his hand out, the cop then throws him to the ground. Believe it or not, you can legally defend yourself from assault by cops. I don't recommend it, but you can. All these action by the cops were not legal. They sibjects can stand on the sidewalk and check their phones without being told to move or leave the area. This is why they could not hold them in jail. With a lawyer, all of the charges would be thrown out. Possibly even the kicking that happened after the illegal, unwarranted touching by the cops. Granted it looks bad, but the law is the law whether you like these guys or not.

Oy, this doesn't put the cops in a good light. Amateur hour, no situational awareness, no footage of them "blocking the sidewalk," only shoving him up against the wall. If they didn't speak English, probably didn't know what was going on and reacted. That said, irritating that the judge let them out when there are people stuck in Riker's for years waiting for much more minor charges to be dismissed.
