I remember spending entire days fishing with my dad and not catching a single fish. Lake trout fishing is definitely slower paced fishing. But when you finally get one it is so worth the wait. You guys did well catching those two beauties. Awesome job!!!

Very true! They are definitely a quality over qty fish.
That is one thing about trolling for lake trout and down riggers is you can get all tangled up

Man, what a great day on the lake. A bonus lure with two great fish! The pole breaking was a sad loss but those fish make up for it!

HAVE A QUESTION ON THE BOAT DOCKS IN THE NARROWS AT STRAWBERRY CAN'T FIND ANY INFO LIKE DO THEY FILL UP, LOCATION, IS THERE A FEE? ANYTHING WILL HELP THANKS.

At Strawberry there aren’t any docks in the narrows. There are some coves you can anchor and camp though.

The rod that broke was a 10 yr old low cost Cabelas trolling rod. I need to upgrade :)

The one laker that you reeled in is the one I'm commenting on. Did you reel it in with a Velocity? I'm thinking about buying 2. Should make a video on the rods and reels you use. I dont believe I have not seen one from you yet.
Bad handling man, those fish are old and fragile. Part of fishing for them is learning how to care more about the fish than getting a picture or a video. I like your stuff but sad to see this.
