Thank you for your presentation. The pictures of the real thing in the other video plus the wiring kit source made things so much easier for me. I just bought the kit and am looking forward to building it.

Great work. I admire your dedication with the paint colours. I also never cease to be amazed at how many tools you have, I realise I need one of those sanders and a small mitre box for those angled cuts. I've used LED back light panels for ceiling lights, as they only have a single LED at the end and give an even glow. They are quite thick though and won't fit in every model, and as you showed, the original set had hotpots in the lighting in any case. It's worth checking out lighting gels with LED lit interiors, these are thin films of even colour and can used to give strong colours but also for tints / correction when working with blue white LEDs.

Fantastic work! Picked up lots of pointers. Have had the shuttle sitting in the build pile since it was released. Can't wait for the interior set to finally make it's way to my side of the pond.

I must say, you have a way of presenting your builds that I find most engaging. You are almost approaching the zen of Bob Ross! I just purchased a small rechargeable engraver/sander after seeing you use one for sanding the Galileo seat bases. It will be perfect for getting rid of seam lines in those areas where sand paper or a Dremel could wipe out small details.

Thanks so much for such nice compliment. You’ll love the sander. Such a useful tool. I even used it to widen the holes along the floor as a dremel would’ve been overkill. Thanks again
Very useful video thanks for all the hints the ingteror is coming out very nicely.

Thanks. I almost did the same but when i heard an interior was coming out I decided to wait and see what they would produce. Thanks for the compliments.
The sander can be found at Newtype. It isn't too expensive. Keep up the good work

Love your amazing attention to detail Oggie! Was just thinking wouldn’t it be great if there was a cut away section to see all the interior like the illustration on the box? I suppose you could do it somehow but it would be nice to have the option. Looking the part anyway my friend. 👊🏻

Excellent! I'm working on mine too. I was thinking about sheet lightning, like the lighting that came with the Moebius Flying Sub Lighting kit. It was a thin sheet that fit under the floor of the sub to light the hexagonal shapes. You can cut it in any shape you want...it would be a good option for the ceiling if you can find it.

Oggie have you ever considered using flocking to give a dark grey carpet effect on the interior of the floor?
@InterstellarModeler

Hi Lawrence. I haven't used the stuff but you might want to check out the channel Spruverse> Phil uses flocking on his replica of the Time Machine. I believe he does it in Part 2 of the build. I gave it some thought with this build but decided to not proceed. I would test to see if it would look right. Hope that helps.
