Did they shut down the 2 ferries entirely? What's going to happen, if there's an accident in the tunnel?

@@u1zha I'm not just talking about "a queue". I'm talking about a major incident, which blocks the tunnel for days or weeks to come. Their only options are either the ferries or a 300 km detour.

The bridge would have to be extremely high to accommodate ships heading to the port of Szczecin.

The tunnel was built for 912 million PLN (about 211 million euro or 230 million dollar) from which European Union gave about 776 million PLN (85%) and the rest - 137 million PLN (15%) was from city Świnoujście. PiS goverment only cut ribbons at the opening, it did not give any money for this purpose.

@@teer7461 85% is EU Propaganda. Poland loses every year 5% of its GDP to the EU. PIS had the idea to build this tunnel. PO was against.

I thank the Polish Gouverment (PIS) for develope Polish Infrastrukture and economy.

Maybe thank them for the things they built and for which they gave money, not the things built with the money of the city and the European Union

@@nettraveller81 in was build by the Intention of the Polish Gouverment. Poland loses 5% of its GDP to the EU. Poland would be richer without EU. Germany is the biggest Profiteur of the EU. The EU steals Polish money. We Polish dont need Lidl,Kaufland, Aldi, T Mobile or German building companies. Thats German occupation.
