Round 2 Whitney was more threatening if that was a Gengar and Alakazam then that would have made it a challenge

That would all depend on the trainer those two Pokemon would have. Sometimes even though you may think a more powerful Pokemon would be a better option. Those more powerful Pokemon would have move sets that would suit the tactics of the trainer.

@@PokeRush415 in modern gameplay I agree, however in this game, there’s no Evite so that greatly limits the middle forms here then again I’m a competitive player so there’s that to take a new account for my response

I didn’t know it has round 3.

It doesn't, I've modified Round 2 so all Pokémon have Max Stats with some trainers having entirely different teams, and many of there Pokémon learn moves that they wouldn't normally learn.

​@Brandden Rittenhouse Early in Round 3 I thought giving opponent Pokemon a few illegal move sets would suit the Round, as there teams where somewhat custom. I changed it later in the Round, because I felt it defeats the purpose of having different types of Pokemon in the opponent's Party, something that Round 3 does more of.
