It was always going to get tough but this was a major difficulty spike. I nearly paid the price for leaving Mew out. At one point I thought I was going to lose the battle, I was extremely unlucky with the confusion as it had taken down two of my Pokemon. Also at 26:53 when it was 6 against 3, I should've used a two step switch. Switching straight from Steelix to Starmie was a mistake, because it left Starmie open to Earthquake, which was used by a Pokemon that sits amongst the most powerful Pokemon in Gen II in terms of Physical Attack.
With a two step switch I would've switched to Zapdos first, with Rhydon's Earthquake turning useless. Then Rhydon would've likely used Rock Slide on Zapdos. At that point it would've been Starmie getting the end of that attack because I would've switched again.
