@@ethan0248910 Rhydon & Machoke were the Bosses at the end of Missions 1&2. Dragonite was a boss that when defeated would give you the ability for it to take you between towns for the rest of the game. Thanks for liking the timestamps, I felt they were necessary for this video. I'm going to add timestamps to your Shadows of Almia video as well.

Yeah I think it is because you have to catch it in one go! But if you're fast enough, it can be easier than the other games because most catches can be completed in a matter of seconds

This series is so slept on. The spirit work is so cool and the mechanics were so fun. Thanks for giving me back this piece of my childhood.

yes, navigating the hideout was it's own boss battle

I played this when I was 10 or 11, it took my about 20 minutes to beat the steelix

Some of my favorite tracks from this game are Jungle Relic, Go Rock Squad Encounter, Raikou/Suicune Battle and Entei Battle. What tracks do you enjoy?

I never realized how low the capture count was. When i fought the salamance i legit thought it was like 100 loops and here i'm like, man this was really a long time.

That's what I keep hearing. That a lot of people raged from playing Ranger haha...I really didn't want to use Plusle for that capture, but if I didn't, I would've been there for some hours.

The hardest boss is missing: That escort mission with the guy scared of Bug types. If you touched a Bug type, start again :D it didn't help that Ariados was everywhere and was really fast chasing.

Yeah, it's a cool feeling watch your collection grow. A good bunch of those games are the originals one I had from middle school onwards.

I remember Kyogre and Groudon as being *very susceptible.* Whereas Kyogre would run away from the screen, Groudon would become hell-ish.

Battling rayquaza and charixard was hell

This game took me months maybe longer to beat when it came out and I was a kid. I just got it and replayed it as a 24 year old and beat it in like 2 days 💀 and I was working both of them too so if I just had one straight day I prolly could’ve done it then. All the things I got stuck on as a kid I did in one try, the only ones I didn’t where charizard and the end battle

Here’s a tip for steelix Sneasel There is a sneasel right before steelix that doubles your line length in exchange for units of health Edit: in this video, sneasel is used

How do you access the Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquaza quests? I just finished the game and I'm looking for all the extra bosses

You can access them by: Kyogre: Talk to Prof. Hastings in Fall City Groudon: Talk to Cameron in Summerland (after going back to Ringtown for a vacation) Rayquaza: Talk to Elita in Wintown

To this very day i still havent beaten salamence. SO ANNOYING CONSTANTLY ATTACKING WHEN IM AT 1 OR 2 LOOPS LEFT AND THEN MOVING INTO THE CORNER WHERE I CAN BARELY MAKE A FULL CIRCLE

The game itself is old yes, but i am pretty sure this was recorded from the Wii U Virtual Console and DS games on Wii U Virtual don't have the same size quality as lets GBA, SNES N64 and NES you can blame it being dual screen for that matter if you'd like

I've seen a lot of DS Games recorded in many methods and if people either know or are aware this kind of style is one of the display settings for Wii U Virtual Console, wish they had other better display methods, guess you can say can't fix what's not broken lol

Darkrai was in the second game (Shadows of Almia). This is the first Pokemon ranger game which came out prior to gen 4, so no Darkrai

I already said that it would not be difficult for you to capture Charizard and Groudon, those Pokémon are difficult to capture the first time, steelix, so it is very extensive and is another difficult one to capture. Entei is another one of the hard ones to capture, for some reason the fire types were very powerful in this game.

Ah yes, using a grass type for a flying fire Pokémon 💀 this dude is not gonna be speedrunning this game any time soon

I never caught Arceus before. I know it's one of those wireless missions (which would require an immense amount of grinding for a solo capture). And yeah for real that Ryhorn and especially that Machoke in Fall City was super annoying (I didn't even realize it was a boss battle 😅)

@@Dafakizdat Charizard is pretty obnoxious. By the time the flame is running out, he spits more. I had to take 2 hits on purpose to clear space to circle around him and even then I used Plusle assist (which I don't really like using) to keep him in place.

Yeah, I think it's more difficult than the other 2 Ranger games.

Most Difficult captures 5) Deoxys 4) Salamance 3) CHARLIZARD 2) Raquaza 1) Steelix Without assists Requaza and Steelix are impossible to capture .
