13:20 Sneasle is based on weasels and loosely felines...it most definitely should be fluffy ESPECIALLY being living in snowy or icy areas 🤣🤣loved this part!!!

Cyndaquil line/ umbreon would be my favourite Hoppip line the worst. Overall I agree that they were very lazy with the johto pokemon. The legendary definitely redeemed it in the end. Lugia made me drool a little (is that normal?)
I really LOVE Johto (and you ;) ), but some of them really were some cheaping outs xD and at the beginning I've got the feeling the creator hates baby pokemon too. There wasn't one that stood out most for me, but I do love the take Lanturn there and that fluffy Sentret :3 to add on, I get why they got Lugia as a bird, in the games you get the Silver Wing as item to encounter it, and Birds have wings. if there are coming more gens, I am looking forward to what they look like and what your reaction on them will be

I agree, some of them were definitely a cheap out! Looking at you Hoppip line... Very true with the Lugia idea!! I love it!
Cyndaquil was totally adorbs!!! But yeah those legendary Pokemon really were some of the best designs ever!

Doesn't surprise me too much how the artist took Shuckle's design considering it's based on a slime mold living in a hollowed out rock.

Hoppip and it's evolution are real life Pokémon in our crazy world I came across a jumpluff a few months ago LMAO I love the commentary I can't stop laughing at these pics. And I'm on team cyndaquil it's adorable ❤️

Tediursa and ursaring are both based on the moon bear or Luna bear. They are native to the Asian area and they are endangered and abused quite often.
Closest resemblance to jumpluff and it’s evolutions are plants at lest in real life

2:46 - Honestly, whoever made the "realistic" Noctowl just took a picture of a normal owl, changed the colour of the eyes and markings around the eyes, then dragged two antler images onto its head. I feel the attempt was somewhat lazy and didn't do Noctowl justice. Actually quite a few entries on this list were lazy when you look at some of the others that really try match the Pokemons' appearances...Spinarak looks like a stock spider image edited on MS Paint, and Cleffa was like photocopying someone's homework and submitting it as is.
One more comment as much I like the dunsparce part of me is disappointed that they didn't keep it short and fat since the pokemon is based off the tsuchinoko, which is basically a short and fat looking snake

That Ursaring is a real bear. Its called a sun bear. There is also a moon bear as well.

The Hoppip line was basically a cut and paste of a dandelion weed. Who did the Steelix version? It looks like you took bone and fused it with hardened ground and rocks. It's not even a metallic color. I thought Steelix would be a dull gray, or a bluish grey. Granbull looks like a mixture of Heathcliff, Scooby Doo, and Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Cyndaquil for starters, umbreon, pichu and lugia. Togepi was the biggest disappointment. I even noticed the huge cracks in its shell.

Most of the plant type pokemons are gust a plant i like a lot of plant pokemons but I'm not sure if I like the pokemons
