Pogacar's lead out skills were incredible I mean that gap that he closed down was crazy cause Narvaez looked to have a good enough gap to hold on but with Pogacar and his speed yea that's what ended it for Narvaez.😳🦋🦋

I thought you were going to call Pogi a knucklehead for being a part of the lead out for Molano along with making fun of UAE for bringing a sprinter to a GC battle. Narvaez needed a 20 seconds to win the stage. I think it was a verry brave move from Narvaez. And yes 1 stage Narvaez sucked in Pogacars wheels, but it cost him a lot of effort to do it ! ! ! ! If it was so easy to suck in pogacars wheels why the other riders didnt do it ???? Because nobody else could follow Pogi in the first stage to the finnish. So thanks to Narvaez we had somme excitement . I have to give Pogi credits, only once last years I saw the leader of a grand tour spending energy with a attack ... The other guy in the yellow jersey who attacked was Wout Van aert in the big tour. Wout attacked 5 km before the finnish and could holf of a sprinting peleton while making flying moves with his arms when he crossed the finnish. Last 10 years I saw no leaders in the general classification attacking ! This is why I like pogacar and somm other riders, they always wanna race . Is it smart ? no , is it spectacular ? YES !

You are all knuckleheads. Pogi wasn’t leading out his teammate; he was leading out all sprinters to exact revenge on Narvaez by making sure Narvaez was caught. Pogi was near the front and saw Narvaez attack and get a gap. Pogi was merely monitoring the gap by staying super near the front (Chris said he was too close) so that he could close the gap if needed. And it was needed. As time was running out, Pogi saw they were NOT going to catch. So Pogi pulled out of line into the wind, passed a few (without his teammate on his wheel) then gave 💯 to make sure they passed Narvaez. As it was, they passed Narvaez only about 1 second before the line. So, even with Pogi’s super pull, the sprinters only won by the hair of their chinny chin chins. Revenge, in the context of sport, fair play, and not harming another, is sweet indeed. Do you not think Pogi was passionate about winning his first ever Giro stage and to wear pink on the first day, maybe until the last?!!! Narvaez ‘stole’ Pogi’s dream, so Pogi stole his at the first opportunity.

Is this not a rdiculous thing for a GC contender let alone favorite to do? Burning matches and taking risks that have very low payoff?

I don't feel pity often for bike riders but I do feel pity for Julian alaphilippe with the current team just destroying his career if you ask me. I'm pretty sure he HAS to attack this way, team orders from Lefevere "I pay you to attack so attack!". If there is one person in modern cycling deserving a knucklehead award it's Lefevere.

Fabio is a rock 🪨 here at this Giro. I still remember his video from the first sprint stage 3 where he said if he can’t get over the final climb then his back sprinter Tobi can go for it. I bet he wasn’t thinking we would be 9 stages in and at the first rest day and he has not been seen at the front of the peloton. 😬🦋👍
