Didn't know you could attack Grodus's scepter to cancel his attacks. Also didn't know that one Life Shroom will revive both characters if they die at the same time.

Same, I love that I've played through this game like 10 times at least and STILL learn new things about it.

For anyone wondering, attacking Grodus’s scepter makes it so his next attack fails at a percentage of 10 x the damage taken, meaning anything that did at least 10 damage guarantees his next attack to fail

I like how there's only 2 people in the audience for the ultimate showdown that will determine the fate of the world and all its inhabitants

@@aturchomicz821 When I was a kid, I only upgraded my HP and nothing else in my Paper Mario runs (both 1 & 2). That limited my strategy against bosses and screwed me over more often than it should. I did not understand the full potential of the Rush badges and exploits you can use against your enemies.

I’ve always wondered what it would’ve been like if Mario and Goombella were able to enter the TTYD at the beginning of the game upon the discovery, battling enemies that are way more powerful than they are and even sub-species of weaker enemies, now I know. Thanks for the video! 😅

This is why ttyd and 64 beat the new games in the battle system

That was amazing! I misread it at first, and thought you were boss rushing the first 8 bosses of the game... I thought that would’ve been tough. You quickly showed me otherwise.

Yup. - 1.5x more Star Power if only Partner in Danger - 2.0x if only Mario in Danger, or only Partner in Peril - 3.0x if only Mario in Peril, or both Mario and Partner in Danger - 4.0x if Mario in Danger and Partner in Peril - 5.0x if Mario in Peril and Partner in Danger - 6.0x if both Mario and Partner in Peril

Nope. Only one Life Shroom is used if Mario and Partner die from the same attack.

To break his barrier so art attack could do 15 damage + kill the other 3 Grodus X. Art attack wouldn’t damage him otherwise
