Tokyo Ghoul is probably not far off. People get stabbed in the chest and "die" constantly. ...but somehow survive anyways. Makes the whole damage pretty pointless.

There was that one clip of a recent anime where the protagonist(?!) kills someone with a snap of his fingers, and then resurrects that person, over and over and over. At one point, the protagonist quipped about the effects of his spell, asking if the resurrected person would still be the same after so many resurrections. I forget what that anime's called, but I'll update the name, if I come across it again. *EDIT:* It was in the first episode of "The Misfit of Demon King Academy", in fact. theres just something magical about n64/gamecube era games, before the internet was really a super big hivemind that could datamine and crack any code, ruin any mystery i remember doing all sorts of random shit in games and being absolutely *fascinated* by it all like glitching into areas early with the burger shop statue in sonic adventure dx, wondering about that book behind the bottle ruins door in mario sunshine, or finding out a little awning on one of the buildings in kakariko village in twilight princess has no collision and just dropping bombs or shooting arrows through it for the hell of it, and just being utterly enamored by ALL of it

Is it possible for stage hazards to deal additional damage to Mario after the bombs? If so, that might be a ticket to another death.

The game kind of crashes if he takes 2 points more of damage, since he took 199 damage and 200 is the cap

I never thought dying fourteen times in a single turn would be a mark of skill in an RPG, but here we are

I see I'm not the only one going into the Pit of 100 Trials with the Double Pain badge on! My personal challenge was going through all 99 floors with no items. I remember getting clapped by the time I reached the 90th floor. Those Poison Puffs, Swampires, and Elite Wizzerds do insane damage!😆

Mario: Yah-hoo! I'm-a back up again, and I gotsa no more-a poison shrooms to kill myself with! *Proceeds to blow up 5 times in a row*

The Life Shrooms not disappearing from Bomb Squad nor Status Effects' glitch could be useful in some cases. Like, if you die from poison or something like that, and you revive with a Life Shroom, you could use the duplicated Life Shroom during the turn that you revive, and restore some HP.
