My theory/headcanon for the ghast tears is they're liquid mercury which would explain why they're shiny and don't vaporize in the Nether. As for why they're used in regen potions, Qin Shi Huang (founder of the Qin dynasty in 221 BC) drank mercury thinking it would give him eternal life, so that could be inspiration for making ghast tears the key ingredient in regeneration potions.

When it comes down to it, repeating decimals are just a way of representing fractions in decimal form. If you add them up in a way that it would equal 1 (like 3 * 1/3 or 7 * 1/7), it'll actually come out to 0.9999... rather than perfectly adding up to 1.

5:45 Okay, while this IS a ridiculous amount of copper for just 2 trapdoors, at the same time you GET a ridiculous amount of copper just by going mining. They had to have realized just how inflated the amount of copper in a world was when they were making the trapdoors and adjusted for it to make the trapdoors "more" expensive, but still keeping a balanced ratio between collection and crafted (if that makes any sense lol.) TLDR; the ingots recipe makes more sense, but you get so much Copper as is that it probably isnt 100% necessary to change

I just made the math and to get a stack of Copper Trapdoors you will need 1728 Copper Ingots, and for 6 stacks of Copper Blocks you will need 3456 Copper Blocks just to get 2 stack of Copper Trapdoors. (Also Fun Fact: i'm the one Who made that comment)

I personally would love to see Manny Heffley added to Minecraft for a variety of reasons, one is that due to him being added to the game, you would get an entire new biome with Greg Heffley NPCs inhabiting it. If Greg hits you, you will be transported to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid dimension, where the villagers are Frank and Susan Heffley, due to them being able to have children. The Snow Gollum is now Rowley Jefferson, because he is kind of built like one, The End Rods are now End Rodricks, and Fregley is a new creature that can crawl on walls and ceilings and hop across your screen. But I think a highlight is Manny himself. To summon him, you have to say "Ploopy" in the chat. He is able to rewrite the game's code to give you wings, or trap you inside of a Wimpy Kid Book. This is why I think Manny Heffley should be in Minecraft. Thank you for reading.

oh yeah, I just noticed that now...when did that happen? Of course, I typed minecraft wiki. Even just yesterday looking up anything else throws up Fandom, with the good wiki not even on page 1 of google. Always better to just have the site homepage favourited in your top bar I guess

fandom is completely vandalized with links to the wiki EDIT: it was this morning i think its fixed now

Like, I know copper's the most common ore but I still have to smelt it and it's either spend a bunch of time cutting trees and smelting charcoal or finding coal which just makes it not worth it.

@@Gandhi_Physique It's not hard, it's just tedious. I don't have a problem *placing* things in a furnace, I place things in chests all the time, it's just that I have better uses for my coal than smelting a bunch of copper. You need about 7 coal and a stack of copper (the copper is no problem) just to make a door. That's 56 potential torches.

If 1/3 = 0.3 recurring, and 2/3 = 0.6 recurring, then 3/3 = 0.9 recurring. But then there's 3/3 = 1 so that's another way to explain it.
