Great to see you back out on the beach mate 🎣 I fished Scratby yesterday last 3hrs of the ebb and 1st 2hrs of the flood. Plenty of fish on the ebb like yourself but not a fish on the flood. Like you say weed is a bit of a pain.

Cheers, I was tempted to go down Scratby. Its strange how it goes when the tide changes. Up north beach a couple of days ago, I was told the fish were mainly on the flood.

@@beanysfishing2555 yep weird how it goes mate. There’s no pattern to it really. We did manage small bass and flounders in the mix which is a good sign. Like you say give it a couple of weeks 🤞🎣

I given up on fishing with a leader and just fish 60lb braid straight through, has been so much better for both bite detection and weed…

Yes, a lot of people have gone the braid route, but with multis, it doesnt work so well

Beany you must be on cloud nine with a rod and reel in your hand , so chuffed for you mate it wont be long and you will be back on the boat
