It’s funny back then we all thought fishing was poor,how I miss those floating cod ends full of cod n whiting in the winter,cods a rare thing on the south east coast now,perhaps the waters to warm now or so many whiting eating the fry,nostalgias nothing like it used to be,have ya got the all clear to get back on the oggin yet ?.

@@brettlittle9913 Yes, the water is definitely too warm. The cold water plankton has gone north, so all the cod fry hatch and starve, they need these to eat for the first two weeks. No one thought they would ever end

Nice to see you fishing in a different location. I thought there’s signs along the left hand side of the pier saying fishing is prohibited into the harbour side.

I never saw any signs. There maybe, or have in the past, but I didnt see any yesterday.

Another interesting video Beany, good to see the lobsters although you only caught a little whiting, when you're fishing with a good mate it don't matter who catches what as long as there's good natured Micky taking. It's a poor old world without laughing at each other, good to see you out again but please be careful, take care, Norfolk Ray

A laugh and a bit of banter is what life is all about. It’s strange them fish all wanted rag, and nothing else.

The new Lowestoft bridge isn’t finished yet, so no. It won’t be long though

Do you need a license or anything similar to use those lobster nets? For home use I mean not commercial.

Depends on what part of the country and what EIFCA area. They all have slightly different byelaws. Here in Eastern IFCA, you dont need a licence, and are restricted to 5 lobsters per day and 25 crabs.

@@dannycarter3647 yes its fine in Norfolk. As long as they are over 87mm between eye socket and back of carapace, not soft, and dont have eggs then you are good to go
