Absolutely love watching the new tree’s come in. When we built our home surrounded by woods it was so pretty, especially in the autumn. I would say it was about 6 yrs most all of the tree’s in our woods around our home (and in most of NY Finger lakes area have died as the are ash trees). The whole area has nothing but grey dead trees where all the limbs have fallen off and it’s just the tree’s standing there. All of them were all attacked by a certain bug and it traveled fast right through our county. My husband and I started cutting down the dead tree’s because they were unsightly and some of them are very close to our home. I told my husband that for every tree we have to cut down we need to plant another tree in its place. But we are having a difficult time trying to figure out what kind of trees we should plant that will grow healthy and live a long life and be absolutely beautiful like all of yours are. We do have quite a few different kinds of evergreens that we planted going on 30 years ago now. 🙏🏼🌲 My husband and I love watching you guys put in all of these beautiful trees, no matter what kind they are, they’re all so beautiful. we love watching everything that you guys do and we have learned so much and we appreciate that a lot. Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful projects and knowledge with all of us. Oh, and you have such a beautiful family and we thank you for sharing them also. I love all the adventures of antique shopping you do with your mom and sister😊👍 Thank you again, Becky Gray

I know the joy that hard work brings and I have watched Laura & Aaron work extremely hard to achieve their goals and have watched how their property has developed with their talents. In addition, seeing what they have done with the flora that God has created makes me worship Him all the more and appreciate what He has given to us. It is not unusual for me to feel overwhelmed by God’s beauty in a natural setting or in a planned space as it’s HIS creation that makes it equally beautiful. And we people are each perfectly and uniquely made. Some are more emotional than others. It’s all good‼️

Hi from 6b St. Louis! I got a Power Planter/DeWalt setup halfway through this season...total gamechanger. The BEST part is the easy backfilling. Thank you for the continuing inspiration, Laura.

Incredible! It’s all come together! Idea: what if you had something tall in the center of the circle. Like a really tall pillar with a statue or metal art piece on top. It would be something to see from all over the garden as a beacon. Either way, whatever you’ll choose will look incredible!

I always want to plant cottage gardens, but something about the formal simple look is so peaceful! I love how it's coming together! Perfect 🥰

It is looking so beautiful as each step is completed. So happy for you that the boxwood, trees, and pathways are coming together before winter.
