Pretty sure they're pretty religious, so they'll appreciate the spiritual aspect/roots of the song, like with Plant imploringly singing: "O my Jesus!" and then sighing "Oh, Lord, take me Home..." Peerless.

Badass Zeppelin song. Now you gotta hear Achilles Last Stand
As a guitar player it's Page's riffs, melodies and solos that stand out to me, but every one of them are musical geniuses. And together they are greater than the sum of their parts.
this song is the shit. One of the best pure rock song ever!!

I don't know why, but when they react to Zep, they will mention everyone expect Page, who is the showpiece of this whole song for example. She threw him a bone at the end, other times, nothing at all. It's weird.

Totally, they don't get Page. I guess some people aren't into the electric guitar. Younger people are into bass and singing. The older people grew up in the guitar era ... 1970's

D'yer Maker (pronounced 'jer maker) is from Houses of The Holy. You guys have actually done several songs from this album & Physical Graffiti is regarded by many as the greatest rock album ever. Their progressive sound is actually from Robert & Jimmy traveling to Morocco and as a result it influenced their music with more arabic/middle eastern melodies and arrangements.

Wow solid night guys, topped off by this one. But Jay, dude, D'yer Maker is not from this album, it's from Houses of the Holy. Do Trampled Under Foot from this album if you want a killer riff.

No great band without a great drummer. Fact!

"D'yer Mak'er" is from their 1973 album Houses of the Holy. "The Rover" is from their 1975 album Physical Graffiti
Great album! Check out Ten Years Gone too!
Had most of their albums. For Bonham fans (and who isn't), you should check out Moby Dick (live). There's also a video of his son Jason doing that song as a tribute to his dad w/ them splicing in old video so you can see them play together!
D'yer Mak'er is from Houses of the Holy Album
There are no bad songs on this double album “Physical Graffiti” I listened to all four sides at least 100x’s when I was 13 on my turntable. I’m 59yo.
I would suggest anything from this album, one of their best!
I love and watch every reaction on RSR, but I get really excited every time I see you are doing another Led Zeppelin song. They are the GOAT when it comes to rock bands. No-one better in my humble opinion!!! 🤟🤟🤟
Always been one of my fave Zep tunes. Great bass in this one. 🤘
Led Zeppelin- Traveling Riverside Blues. Official video. Doesn’t have nearly enough reactions and it’s a great song.
This song is a real testament to their strong blues foundation. It's really prominent, and is lit. dig it...

Finally three great songs from three great bands. Well done...😊😊😊
“I know to trip is just to fall”…… Robert Plant
Physical Graffiti was simply an awesome album. So many classics from this double album. I've said it before, we were spoiled by these great bands. Kashmir being my personal favorite from the Zep was almost an afterthought considering all the great music from this collection.
You guys are checking all my boxes today.
Physical Graffiti is a double album from 1975. One side is of older songs from earlier sessions and the other was of new stuff. This song was an outtake of the Houses of the Holy sessions in 1972 D'yer Mak'er was not on this record. It was on House of the Holy.
Great album!
One of my faves! That Bass!🔥🤘🎶✌

Adding to todays Zep Fix. I stopped a live from Pontiac 8mm for this. ROCK ON!'
The band played part of this song in Sydney in February 1972. Three years later it was on an album.
From Physical Graffiti you NEED to do In My Time of Dying and In the Light.
this album to me is a masterpiece and you get every type of music possible on this

This reminds me of every 1970s stoner keg party ever. If only I could go back knowing what I know now 😊 They often title their songs after the most obscure lyric in it...or not in it (D'yer Maker, Over The Hills and Far Away, etc)! Always thought this should be titled If We Could Just Join Hands. Ha. Blessings ❤
Thanks for more Led Zeppelin My favorite band since 69 ❤
I bought the 4 disc CD box set back in the 80s and it's still in great condition. Greatest band that spans generations.
Physical Graffiti is solid from beginning to end - and it's a double album!
My Favorite Zepplin song of all time… such a fun song Good Memories!!♥️😊
Awesome choice! Great song, album and band of course, for another from Physical Graffiti, do The Wanton Song, another All time Zeppelin classic. Jimmy Page, master of Riffs! Enjoy. 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Zeppelin FOREVER!!!🥁☮☘
In the Light is another must listen 🔥
Always a good time. Plant's voice is so flexible.

The drums on IMTOD will blow Amber out of her chair, lol! As long as it's studio version. Live is awesome, but Studio's more powerful sonically.
The 80s got their big hair bands but the 70s HAVE THE GODZ OF ROCK PERIOD Give me 70s Rock all day long
Physical Graffiti really does it for me, the bass on the Rover is insane.
One of my favorites
I think it is all about the guitar in this one! Saw them live and when they started playing the Rover Jimmy was spectacular.
This song always gives me that buzz, that body high, the chills - it's hard to describe being on cloud 0.
Gotta check out "Trampled Underfoot". 1975 live. You'll love it!!
Thanks Jay and Amber, I've being waiting for this one for a long time. This might be my favourite opening guitar work and continuous riff by Jimmy Page. The entire Physical Graffiti double album is fire but its epic of all epic tunes is the mantra-like Kashmir. The song will put you into a trance. The drumming is next level even for Bonham.
"The Rover" has always been one of my favorite songs to drum along to.
My fav led zeppelin song!
WOW - GREAT PICKS, TONIGHT, YA'LL!!! Just FIRE!! HUGS, YA'LL!!!
The guitar, the bass, the drums and finally the vocals.....what a groovy song ,all in sinc ,love watching you guys
The drums are the key to every Led Zeppelin song!
This is their best albums. Trampled Under Foot - a must.
One of the most underrated Zeppelin tunes...
They were 4 gods all in the same band! Simply unmatched
This song blew me away the first time i heard it. Still one of my favorites.
This is one of my all time fav LZ songs.....Cutard Pie is another beauty from this album. You will dearly LOVE "Knowbodies Fault but Mine', from the Mothership (remastered) album, which is my absolute favorite LZ song. It's a banger!!
@JohnRJune
9 күн бұрын
Oops, I see you already reviewed 'Knowbodies Fault but Mine'. Somehow, I missed that.
Agreed, Amber. In many instances, John's drumming is so meaningful and emphatic. It's like he provides the powerful jet stream behind which the others seemingly follow. But I think that speaks to their cohesiveness as professional musicians. Led Zeppelin is compositionally-rich, as well. So each has room and opportunity to shine with their unique, musical facility. When each perform well, there is an additive quality to their music. I believe one of the band members referred to this collective, orchestral, improvisational facility as the "fifth member" of the band. And I suspect it is that distinct quality that allows you to discern John over the others. In truth, however, the same could be said of Jimmy, or JPJ, or Robert, hearing the same tune on another day. Pretty special band.
The first thing that I thought of after seeing the title was Frank Sinatra’s Love’s Been Good To Me. Funny how the brain works connecting dots. Amber, in the beginning it was Gene Kupra and Buddy Rich when it came to drumming. You need to check them out
Thanks guys for doing The Rover! I thought my comment asking for it probably got lost. So it was a great surprise when you referenced my saying how my Zep faves have changed many times over the years. So fun watching you 2 jam to it. Thanks again! ❤❤❤❤
"If we could just join hands, that's all it takes."
Every song on this album is excellent ! More please. Thank you. Love you guys
JPJ is always making the drums sound better, not to say that BONHAM isn’t slamming on this one!
Nice! Good song for a Sunday afternoon.
Check out the original studio recording of the Led Zeppelin song "Since I've Been Loving You". Yes, you heard the live recording, but the studio recording is a totally different experience. So much better! It will touch your soul. Peace
Glad y'all got here. This album , this album.
What an awesome song...i got this on vinyl....my all time favorite album from them...every song is absolutely amazing!!!
ACHILLES LAST STAND 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You gotta do”trampled underfoot “ the studio version AND the 10 min live version
I've been waiting patiently for you to do this song from the beginning. I just KNEW that Amber would LOVE it.
Told ya!!!!! Booyah!!
One of my favorite Zep tunes.
One of my fave Zep tracks! My 17 year old daughter’s #1 Zep track. Guess I’ve done something right. lol As a bass player, also one of my fave JPJ bass lines. So strong and steady and heavy with flourishes of great color at the exact moments it’s needed. Not too much. Not too little. Just right!
Timeless classic.
Great reaction to a Great song!
I can't wait till they get to my favorite Zep song, The Rain Song!
In the Light...... Totally different. Down by the Seaside, Night Flight, Houses of the Holy, Custard Pie.....All on Physical, and much more
This was the second song on the album and set the tone; it tells you that this is going to be an epic album.
My favorite song on this album! You guys should just do this entire masterpiece track by track...
