New to this whole eating lifestyle. Just got your book in the mail today! Cardiologist said make this work or go on medication. I vote no on meds.

Jane and Ann your biscuits are fabulous no competition. Well done both of you.
Love and appreciate all Esselstyn/Hart family does to promote healthy lifestyle. Admire their dedication as well. Love the mother daughter banter...adorable.😊
I just made Ann’s short flaxseed biscuits!!! 😋🤤🥰 I sprinkled everything but the bagel seasoning on 5 and left 5 plain to eat with fresh fruit. This cookbook is amazing!! 👏❤️🙌 I love the energy I get, the food is incredible & there’s always something new to cook & try!! ☺️🥰❤️ Bravo ladies!! 🙌🙏❤️🥰💕
Love you, ladies. A big thank you to the whole family for what you do. Our family supports you because you support us. 😘😘
I love Ann and Jane and love their recipes.
Jane, you are so very blessed to have your mother by your side. My dear mama passed away 25 years ago and I still miss her presence so much. Mothers are special and when they are gone, our lives change and nothing is ever the same again. I love your recipes and am a plant-based woman warrior. Thank you for sharing.
Love these ladies
Wonderful fun and educational presentation. Enjoyed the friendly family competition making two kinds of biscuits, this was great.
I love that you showed us 2 different ways of doing this.
Great work you ladies👍 they both look good and I am sure they are both very delicious 😋
I love how Ann was like, "that's why I eat them all at once" to the question if they were as good cold (ie being best hot) xD this was just such a delight :) they are best plain, hehe x3 pure joy :D thank you so much
Good job ladies 🎉🎉🎉
Love your competitive teamwork❤️💕💕
Thank you gals
I love these recipes!
greetings from Norway!🎉
I've made these. You definitely have to eat these immediately. Next day - not so great. But fresh out of the oven - delicious!

The cookbook says they’re good toasted the next day (Ann’s version). Ours didn’t last until goths next day, but would like to try them that way. 😊
❤❤ thanks dear lovely ladies ❤❤
Ann, your biscuit was delicious. I added a little bit of maple syrup and we gobbled them up.
I love watching this. This is so fun
Love that Alaska oven mit! ❤
It’s so so funny that this video came out, because I was just looking at those recipes earlier today thinking about making them
That tip about crumpling the paper, blow my mine, that's awesome! Thank you! I appreciate your family so much.
I love you ladies ❤ you make me smile when I need to
One of my all time favorite cookbooks! Y'all crack me up.
🌱🕊💚 I appreciate you, all, so very much!!!!! Will try both of your recipes! Much love from Texas. ❤❤❤❤
you girls are so fun 🤗
Tasty healthful food doesn't need to look perfect. Love this video!
Gotta go with Ann’s for the ease of preparation! Going to make a batch now!
Hi ladies, always follow your cooking show I'm 66 and have high cholesterol even with sos free plant based So I tried Ann's biscuit and I was speechless, it was delicious, and the next day I made it again 😂 Thank you so much Ann and Jane 👏👏👏
Haha...you two!!! Now I HAVE to pull out my cookbook and make both recipes, lol! Jane, the light blue stone in your ring is so beautiful! Would you tell me what kind of stone it is?
Have to make these. I have the cookbook.
I tried Ann’s biscuits and they were tasty! I thought about adding some chopped rosemary and nutritional yeast, but because I used oat milk (unsweetened), the batter had a slight sweet taste, so I didn’t. I dipped the biscuits in unsweetened applesauce, because I didn’t have any fruit spread. Will have to try Jane’s biscuits another day. Thanks for another great cookbook. (I was at your weekend event in Pasadena several years ago! I remember Jane telling me to make sure and have kale with my breakfast, I had the Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease book at the time and was eating the Esselstyn Family Breakfast of oats, fruit, etc. and kale already. It was great to be somewhere where everyone was eating the same. Loved the weekend!
You need a metal jar key. You will never have to tap the jar upside down ever again. I think it costs $25 on Amazon. But it breaks the vacuum seal in 1 second.
Both winners 🎉
You ladies crazy. Whoever heard of walnuts in biscuits! I'm leaning towards the short ones - biscuits and crazy lady! ; ) Keep up the good work!!!
I would love to be one of your recipe testers!!
I turned Ann's biscuits into a sweet pumpkin biscuit by adding 1 tbs of maple syrup, 1/3 cup pumpkin, and pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. So good. You could probably add a little vanilla as well.
Like Ann’s as walnuts r expensive and I don’t always have them . I always have flax . Way to go Ann . ❤
What is the brand name of the oatmeal you use?
How would they be with whole wheat flour
I wonder if they will fluff up more by adding some applecider vinegar to the nondairy milk? I know it works for pancakes. 😊
Is there a healthy alternative for tofu replacement in all your recipes?
Do you make your own strawberry/rhubarb?
I wish the recipes were written down
Prep a head of time and soak the walnuts overnight.
I've never heard that walnuts are bad for the heart. It's this true?

Nuts are high in fat.
They look great but no sweetener of any kind?

I don't think many traditional biscuit recipes have sweetener, but you could always add stevia?

So essentially, Ann's are a traditional Scottish bannock, but with flax seeds added!

SO refreshing to come across biscuits which aren’t stuffed with sweetness. I don’t have a sweet tooth.
I have a question not related to this video. Are oats any less nutritious if you cook them. I know that you are all fans of eating them raw with berries/plant milk, but I don’t enjoy them that way, so cook my breakfast oats.
Hey Mrs Esselstyn, otherwise known as an Ann. I thought you might like to know that they have just introduced parchment paper that comes off the world and is guaranteed to stay flat. No more crumpling of the paper necessary although I think you do it to relieve the stress from Jane tormenting you.
Holy shit I love white people.
Not everyone cares about added sodium. I have low sodium and low blood pressure, salt does my body good.
I love your show. I do not find the war metaphor helpful.
