Just found your channel from your FB post on GFX forum. You have very well made content, you definitely need more subs! How would you compare GFX and newer X series sensors on XT5 and XH2? How dynamic range and resolution compare? I have XT5 and considering GFX50S II. I am enthusiast and do photography for fun.

Hey Robert! Thanks so much for the sub and taking the time to leave this comment. I definitely agree… I need more followers! haha. If you have any ideas… I'm all ears! I havent had extensive time with the XH2 or XT5, but I can say i have tried both. I purchased my own GFX100s last august, and later that fall I had about 30 mins with the XH2 and 56mm ii. When pixel peeping the files (I did a video on it) briefly I did second guess my GFX purchase. Being 100% honest. The dynamic range and IQ and all that of the XH2 was about what I would expect from the XH1. im sure its a bit better, but initially, nothing hardcore jumped out at me, other than the more megapixels. WHich is very nice. But if you have ever used a GFX… specifically the GFX100s… there is no replacement. Yes 100 megapixels is nice for sure, but quite simply, the amount you can push into colors and detail in shadows, how much shadows and highlights you can recover, just everything. It's insane. But… it is a very large system. Everything is heavy. Never thought i would complain about it… and I'm a powerlifter ha.

The 56/1.2 is definitely soft at 1.2, but it’s also one of my favourite lenses (after 35/1.4) with a really pleasing colour rendition. Really great to see how the x-t5 performs with the 56/1.2 at 1.2 wide open. Thanks Mike!

A lot of missed opportunities here to overlay footage of the camera while you're describing it in the first 20 percent of the video. The steady shot of you talking isn't useful - that's just a podcast. As you talk about the size comparison of the XH and XT, why not show them together, show them in your hands, show the dials and screen?

A lot of good ideas, thanks for the feedback. It's unfortunate, a lot of the videos I make I only have the equipment for a short amount of time, but yeah next time I could overlay an image and point things out. Thanks for taking the time to make suggestions! I think next time more visual aids would be very helpful.
