@@bradbrown3447 would you live there. You seem to get on with the residents. Have they taken anybody on the island in recent years to live. You would have to be likeminded or you wouldnt enjoy being there. The island its self is easy and if i had it to myself no probs but the island looks tiny and a population lives on it. When you going back? Any problems you encountered with the people?

I herd they are selling land in pitcairn Island is this true.

what do they do with all the plastic/rubbish that accumulates? I was sad to see the only beach on pitcairn has plastic rubbish lying on the sand... Do they raise chickens for eggs and meat or is it all imported at a high cost?

The rubbish that washes up on that beach (down rope) has to stay there as it is such a steep climb back to the top. Pitcairn has a recycling facility where they crush glass and shred plastic. None of the rubbish down rope has come from Pitcairn. There are wild chickens but most meat is brought in on the Silver supporter or bought from cruise ships

I will detail a bit more on options of getting there but the island doesn't have an airstrip. So the last part of the journey will always include a ride on a boat for a few days. Thanks for your question!
