I liked that his nose did not grow when he said “I love war”, and that’s why he didn’t even know what war was.

It's so funny because this is genuinely how small kids act. They just keep making up the most insane reasons why they did what they did, because they don't want to disappoint their parent.

I used to invent the most elaborate believable lies when I was younger. Adults would believe it; I just made it up as I went along. I had good memory too, so I didn't forget anything. I'm terrible at lying now.

When I was a kid I saw that my mom would be sad and disappointed if I lied so I told the (little) truth with unclear context instead. What a kid from a hell am I lmao.

I love how Pinocchio goes from throwing a tantrum to smiling when all the kids start cheering on his nose growing

Yeah they did follow the book bit more then the Disney version but yeah they made more dark the other Pinocchio movies ever nothing can top this

This has a similar vibe to Fruity Pinocchio getting shot by the cat and surviving in that other Pinocchio movie

I like how when Pinocchio’s nose grows into a full tree, Geppetto moves it to one side so it won’t hit him in the face. 😅

"Then why is your nose growing?" "It's not!" and then his nose grows again Wait a sec, if it grows after he says that, then it means he technically told the truth! Then again if he's now telling the truth his nose shouldn't grow and dang I'm making my head hurt here.

Imagine if Pinocchio Started a multiverse in the same place as the movie but with different fairy tale characters I can think of like Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Alice in Wonderland, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Little Red Riding Hood the list goes on, that would be neat. Just saying

I think it might be because of the potential insinuation that Pinocchio is Carlo reincarnated (or has his soul) Theres several instances in dialogue throughout the movie primarily Death where they imply Pinocchio has a “borrowed soul”. Theres more visual clues such as Pinocchio looking at a pinecone during Ciao Papa to remember his dad despite that being a Carlo specific memory Its all speculation as its never confirmed but thats how I intepret how Pinocchio knows the rhythm of My Son (but not necessarily the lyrics)

The death fairy did say that she feels he has died before, implying that a part of Carlo is in Pinocchio but not fully, since he is still just himself, but pieces are there it seems
