I owe the epicness of my Pink Floyd journey to my parents, especially my dad. The Wall is just the most amazing album. Being someone so has schizophrenic, this album just hits different. It hits the heart and mind in so many ways. Man when I first heard this song it blew my mind. It’s a banger then and it’s a banger now. This album is just top tier. There isn’t a song on this album that sucks. Thank you Pink Floyd for changing our lives! 🤘🏻

All in all it was just a brick in the wall All in all it was all just bricks in the wall (my favourite part) When we grew up and went to school There were certain teachers who would Hurt the children in any way they could (Oof!) By pouring their derision Upon anything we did And exposing every weakness However carefully hidden by the kids But in the town, it was well known When they got home at night, their fat and Psychopathic wives would thrash them Within inches of their lives. For many years scientists, philosophers and theologians alike have been asking some of lifes greatest questions, such as "What is the meaning of life?", "Is there a God?". But even then one question stands above all, one that still has yet to be answered. That question being "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?"

Answer: Make it a blood pudding. You've got meat and pudding together, you can't simultaneously have and eat a cake; but you can simultaneously have and eat Meat and Pudding. Although given the context of the song (via film clip) I don't really know if I want to eat the meat when it's made of other students. Particularly because the pudding is probably made of the teacher's shit.

I don't think people should say this song was "ahead of its time". Rather, the message of the song was true before it was made, when it was made, and even today. This song is TIMELESS

One of the top albums of all time. The genius in its making will never be rivaled. Legendary in its timing. The gods only come together periodically but they were there that day. This album will stand the rest of time. While other will come and go this album still has many adolescent parties to come. Only the genius understand

I'm 60 years old and have been listening to Pink Floyd since 1979 while stationed at my first duty station in the United States Navy. I'll love this music!
I am an Elvis Presley fan, but I love a lot of other kinds of music also. And I collect vinyl from those I see as the best for my taste. And I really want to say to all you great Pink Floyd fans around the world that this is not just a terrific piece of music, but it is really art! - A great piece of music-history. The bass-parts to Mr. Waters is absolutely stunning. I am saying this because I believe such a feedback to Pink Floyd fans are special appreciated when coming from a fan of another artist/group. I know I would have enjoyed it myself. Pink Floyd isn't just a normal "another" band. It was something very special and I don't know any other who can match them in their fantastic style.
The lyrics in Floyd songs are immortal. Will never be old whatever the time and age for years to come.
Loving this…bringing back my teenage years! I had just turned 18 when this album was released. Pink Floyd forever 💕👏💕👏💕

Except for the chopper, that take me back to Nam, and brings in another dimension to this song.
Pink floyd is the shit. I remember my dad playing the whole album the wall in this black astorovan with 4 10" speakers and like 3 different amplifiers at one of our uncle funnel well the grave site. That's what he wanted my dad to do for him so he did.

went to every Pink Floyd concert some at 3 different places. My life was like listening to a Pink Floyd album. Those who get into the words-start side 2 of Darkside play thru Division Bell then go back to Darkside side 1. It's worth the time while watching the rain thru your window pane
For years, till 22 years of age, I couldn't fall in sleep before listening to one side of the The Wall album..

this tune became the Anthem of the Berlin Wall breaking..... still reminds me about it! Btw, since the World is World, humankind has been alike to built Walls, for any kind of reasons, and mainly the wrong ones, what unfortunately, is our "specificity", what a pity...
This song heals my soul with its rich and unique sounds. No song like Another Brick...
LYRICS : PART 1 (Waters) 3:41 Daddy's flown across the ocean Leaving just a memory Snapshot in the family album Daddy what else did you leave for me? Daddy, what'd'ja leave behind for me?!? All in all it was just a brick in the wall. All in all it was all just bricks in the wall. PART 2 (Waters) 3:56 We don't need no education We dont need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone! All in all it's just another brick in the wall. All in all you're just another brick in the wall. We don't need no education We dont need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone! All in all it's just another brick in the wall. All in all you're just another brick in the wall. PART 3 (Waters) 1:17 I don't need no arms around me And I dont need no drugs to calm me. I have seen the writing on the wall. Don't think I need anything at all. No! Don't think I'll need anything at all. All in all it was all just bricks in the wall. True, but you heard the greatest music when it first came out! Much love and respect to you! I was born in 1977, luckily my dad(RIP) played the best music as I grew up (From Led Zeppelin, Stones, Alice Cooper, Kiss.....and Floyd!)
When my son was 12 years old, he found this 2 disc set at a yard sale. With his money, he bought it for me. That was about 35 years ago. It’s been put up ever since. I don’t have a player to play it on. But it’s there, in a chest, waiting.
Det er ikke mange musikere som har gitt ut så utrolig mye bra,og får hele albumet til å høre sammen. De er blant de aller beste. R.Tollan
Best music on the planet. The whole current generation hasn't got a clue about good music.
This is the coolest 11 min of music ever...
Very fortunate to see this Live first time round. 9th of August 1980, Earls Court, London.
My dad... He introduced me to Pink Floyd. when he dies i will always listen to pink floyd... i will never forget this band…
Songs before my time glad I have older family members who knew good rock tunes, Pink Floyd is the best of the best
Part 2 is my favorite of the 3 but I never expected that all 3 would sound so great together.
It’s great someone put up all 3 parts of the wall another brick in the wall
Im 14 and I grew up listening to this style of music and still prefer it over alot of songs today

Happy 2021 to everyone listening to this great classic
This would've been so different from any else Even back then. A True Masterpiece; what planet's aligned that these Musicians came together to create Pink Floyd - I remember my parents playing this Album while I crawled around under the table with Weezie The Blue dog 2 or 3 yrs old
Até Iron Maiden é fã de pink Floyd eles eram feras um salve aos brasileiros que já ouviram esse verdadeiro clássico do rock
Absolute Classic, very rare to have all three parts in succession. This is proper classic rock. Brilliant guitar work, great vocals and excellent drumming by the icon that is the legend Nick Mason.
This album, 4-way blotter, new years eve 1979 and 3 friends of mine all came together in an unforgettable life experience I still treasure today.
Got a 5yo that requests this song at bedtime. I’ve heard that music taste is heavily influenced at a young age. Glad I’m helping next generation hear real music.

I have a Cultured European female friend who grooves to classical music and has an engineering mind. She does not only not appreciate rock, she ranks on it for its simplicity and noise emitted by the speakers. Yes with all her culture and smarts, fails to recognize the art value expressed by so many talented musicians. I have tried to reason with her but, to no avail at nearly fifty, she will never change.
This is how this song is supposed to be listened to. Part 2 is good but it's kinda weak alone without the other parts.
