Pine River - Early Season Search for PRAWNS Dec2021

I know its early season, but I like to get a feed of prawns ready for Christmas. So, I head done the Pine River in search of these tasty little fellas. We’ve had some heavy rain leading up to this time so its possible they are washed out into the bay. Even so, at this time of the year, they are in the early stages of development and wont be large. I'm hoping for a some small to mediums. The smaller ones I’ll use for bait as they are excellent for catching your bigger fish. The mediums will tun into a fee.
So, join me and see how I do early in the season.

I was getting too much water in the storage hatch and that's what i came up with. Keeps it dry in there now. Thanks for watching and commenting.

@@EndlessWeekendlife it is also handy for the mess and making it easier to pick up the prawns.
I’d love to learn how to do this, I’m so close to the pine, just need a boat 😩

Can you cast a net? Perhaps I can take you out in mine one day if you need. I also see people casting off the pontoon at Deep Water Bend and scoring some prawns. Thanks for watching hey

@@AdventurePrimal happy to watch mate, love your content! I used to throw a generic 9ft but I’m going to go buy a Mervs prawn net if I’m going to be using it regularly. Oh really I didn’t know they through the net around there

@@CitizenNumberOne yes. Buy one of the good prawn nets like mervs. 12ft top pocket and learn how to cast it. Youll get more prawns with that sort.
