Prawning catch and cook with Shauno

Well it was time for another big prawning session! I take Shauno for his very first SEQ Prawning trip. We manage to get stuck into some great sized prawns to cap it off.

Just a tip, to chill water fast add salt to it. To boil water fast don't add the salt at the start, wait for the rolling boil then add it, you'll find it will come to the boil faster.

There's too much water when you boil it, it will be a lot tastier when you boil it with a small amount of water. Or I usually cook it without adding water so it will boil in its own juice so there is no chance of the flavour getting washed out by the water. Nice video.

  • @aussiecue

@@keith2j The salt is all that is needed. These prawns have a lot more natural flavor than crawfish. Though you can do a "Crawfish Boil" style cook with prawns (Shrimp). Oldbay season goes good.
