It is a shame we don't have shows like yours on national TV instead of those shows full of commercials. I stopped watching those shows 3 years ago and I haven't missed them a bit. There are a few things that bug me, but no point in focusing on them.

Nice vid. Prawns were definitely making me hungry! After a month of 70 F degrees, now we're in a week of winter with about 13" of snow and in the low 20's F. Am SO looking forward to summer. The apple and cherry trees have already started to blossom. Keep up the good work! Enjoy your summer.

Ok, good.

Peace of advise when you are cast netting you should watch out for real muddy water pretty easy to see and it is mostly next to the bank but that's where the prawn mostly are and you should have more rope in your line and for prawning you should get a top pocket on a cast net because the top pocket is ment for prawning because they will flick to the top and get stuck

I actually don't mind if they are a bit hard to see. I GPS them so they are easy to find.

As for right now, i cant tell because during this season in MN its just gray outside, but i am going to florida in 2 days so im sure ill get a lot of use out of them. Cant wait for summer too.

I was just thinking; you should invent some type of non-slip plastic fold out to lay on the casting deck. It will protect your carpet when catching yummy prawns! Awesome video!

That would be nice, but my channel grows at 3x per year, so yes it grows faster the bigger it is, but when I am bigger I need more subs to grow. It could even take 3years, but I'm an optimist.

Sounds like a long winter in some places.

Ketchup and mayo is great with fries/chips. Brought it with me from America and showed my wife and her family lol. I also eat prawns with shell on, unless they are big ones then I'll sometimes peel. Great vid.

Hello Andy love your videos, just a tip with the cast net you should flick the net to recreate the prawns jumping out, when you do that they think that's the area that the prawns are jumping resulting in the prawns jumping up and get stuck

There's many species of them, some fresh some salt, I'm not too worried about the exact scientific names here.

Cool video Andy. Love seeing those salmon chasing bait in the shallows. You should do a recipe video where you make that prawn broth. We did alright casting prawns a few weeks ago too, with all the rain we had.

Awesome video Andy, Thanks so much. Watch your hands when pulling them pots up as my grandad and i went fishing in Mackay (We're from Townsville) and went to pull up a float with a gaff and croc thought it was our hands and launched out and took a bite into the gaf and the float. Be very careful. I'm happy to send you $15-20 to buy a gaff if you need as i want you to keep your hands and im sure you do too!

While not catching or finding any fish is frustrating, it doesn't compare to the frustration of having heaps of fish feeding right in front of you that you still can't catch. Reminds me of the mullet run where I live. Millions of mullet in schools being busted by monster Tarpon, and you'll never hook one.

Nice video Andy. I went for a fishing trip the other day and decided to cook a prawn on a hot rock from the fire and noticed that the shell was really soft so I just ate it but it was pretty tasty!
