Day 2 of your 24 Days of Pilates is a simple but very effective Pilates abs routine, really pay attention to the details and the precision of movement; the curl up or chest lift is a technical exercise but comes up a lot throughout all our Pilates routines together so hope you enjoy this one and we sure do FEEL it! I have IBS and do this routine regularly when my intestines are playing up. It helps massively with bloating and indigestion! Thanks Lottie!
its been a while where i have actually felt my muscles engage, I love pilates bc it focuses more on pratctising proper form, before I would just try to do things as much and quick as possible and felt no engagement. My are abs burning

Loving this series. I wish you could do a video on how to keep our neck nuetral. I struggle with chronic neck pain, and the more I work out the more pain I feel. I can’t figure out how to do the poses without hurting myself

I have the same issue and I think as the core gets stronger, the neck won’t try to compensate so much. That’s what I’m going to focus on.

I was looking for something to prevent aches and pains as I hit my fifties. I didn’t get on with yoga, but I’m enjoying your Pilates sessions. I particularly like your non nonsense, let’s just get on with it approach. I also like these numbered days sessions put together. It means you’ve done all of the thinking for me. Good work Lottie.

Can't say I enjoyed this but I know it was good for me! Did a killer workout on Monday for my legs and glutes which still hurts so to focus on abs was perfect.
Might’ve only been 9 minutes, but I sure felt the burn, thank you Lottie!!
that was tough, abs burning! happy it was a shorter one, actually I would've done this in the morning if I knew :D glad this challenge is so versatile, not only in exercise but also length. Looking forward to Day 3! ^-^

Yes the classes will range from 10-30 minutes, a little Pilates a day goes a long way which is what I hope you will feel and also you will stay committed with this variety, we have so much more to come! Lots of love xx

This ab workout is genuinely one of the toughest I’ve come across if you really focus on getting the form exactly right. I’ve never had anyone signal to keep the hips neutral rather than with a posterior tilt/lower back pressed into the mat. It makes it so much harder!!! The movements are tiny but I really feel my entire abdominal area work rather than just the upper abs
Yayy thank you for making short ones, I was contemplating to do the day 2 bcs my body aches after yesterday's session with you but seeing it's only 9 mins made me jump into my outfit clothes right away. And yess I love the series so far!! ❤️❤️

That's my plan, not to overwhelm you. 24 days is a long time so a little Pilates a day and variety will keep you committed! xx
Normally I am a dumbbell/barbell girl, but mixing your pilates before or after a targeted weight training is much more fun 😘

Wow, for a short workout I definitely felt that! I’m just getting back into Pilates after doing yoga for a while and that 10 min session has reminded me why I love it so much. You feel your body working!

Just what I was looking for ! I injured my back 2 years ago falling in the stairs, and have been looking for videos like yours in order to get my posture back (do you say that in English?) without any risk of hurting my lower back (L4-L5). Thank you for explaining it so well and calmly too !

I'm loving this challenge, it's my day 2 and love it. I have a question which is probably very obvious but do we need a warm up ando a cool down after de daily routine?

my sides of neck is so sore. felt my core is burning!😎
I did one month of only normal fitness and not pilates and i noticed that conparing to when i did pilates my belly was more big and bloated even in the morning where its usually flat. When i started doing only pilates my belly was back to normal, flat in the morning and less bloated during the day. I think its bc of pilates. I wonder why

I love your workouts but I can`t do this one. These exercises always kill my neck - are there any modifications for avoiding sit ups?
This was cruel for Day 2! 🤣 It was brutal, but thankfully short! ...and abs are usually my strength!! I'm impressed, at least! 😬😅
