They all stayed on the "track" seemed to know where they were going, were unphased by the noise of a live band and a crowd...I'm wondering if these are trained pets or "show" pigs.

@Meg that part I agree with. It makes me sad that I cant get into all the fun traditions around the Derby because its the culminarion of something SO bad for horses

OMG! That was good stuff! BTW JIMMY - I was so impressed by the piglet race (might have been 50th take but I didnt see that so) a thought crossed my mind how right now the show is powering through entertaining viewers around the world and I firmly believe your show will go down as part of television history. Whether that will be through families; generation after generation seeing each other for say sunday lunches or birthdays and chatting around the table recalling something from yr show that made them laugh. Or as part of our future education system. "Late night with Jimmy Fallon" will be the stand alone example used when teaching social or media or even acting classes in Colleges and Unis around the world. A LEGEND in its own Lunchtime, it personifies the 100 year or so relationship we as humans have had with the Box known as TV. Afforded by most families and just needing a power point to bring it to life and give the Lonely a link to the outside world or keep sick kids entertained; help those frightened of the dark to get to sleep at night as well as playing to itself representing a home owners false sense of security while they go out at night. There is alwlays one seemingly fluffy lightweight Question written as part of a State Wide Exam held in Unis or Colleges. And I reckon Late Night will figure heavily in exams in the future. .

I was watching this on "Good Morning America" and I thought yeah right but even though I couldn't imagine what would eventually did happened I just thought there is no where that this horse was going to win. Then hours later who knew - Maximum Security would be subjected to this. But I couldn't help but thinking after all that chaos many people actually went out and bet probably their whole life savings and others making foolish bets with who knows how much money on this horse just because of some piglets. There are a lot very disappointed people contemplating suicide & others were literally tearing their hair out of their head. if not moments after the race - the following morning because the reality shock still hadn't hit them yet. Especially those who probably refused to watch knowing they'd already made a mistake betting the large amount they bet but could not get their money back because they'd already made the bet.
