William Taylor - I've noticed that the more relevant therapy and self-exploration has become in his life (as seen on his show as he increasingly mentions it over the years), he's softened around the edges, as you've said. Also, I firmly believe that he's slowly evolved - very thoughtfully and with a plan - his show to appeal to a more general audience, so he can get into real gritty and interesting interviews with people who formerly wouldn't have gone near his show for any amount of money. I think that awareness started when he did AGT and saw a huge untapped audience of the more "wholesome" crowd. Maybe he's started thinking about his legacy.

it was Elizabeth Taylor at the 1989 Soul Train Awards who stated that “Michael Jackson is the true King of Rock, Pop & Soul” which was later shortened to King of Pop. Howard, as usual, did a little embellishment job on the subject,
Howard david professional interview amazing piers morgan did a great job
amazing how we watch egos just whipping eachother.
favorite
this has given me gas
Good interview Piers....
Howard Stern talks so much sense! That piers is a Wally ! And the lsd story brings back some memories!
Everyone trashes Morgan. I think he did a great job with a big personality like Howard's, and the fact Howard is in the same business. Howard is great to listen to which is why I'm not confounded about how successful he got.
Howard rules ✅

Anyone notice peirs Morgan asks at 9:01 what makes you get up at 4am to Howard stern. Then years later piers was doing a early a early morning show that starts at 6am. That proves that listening to right advice from others can pay offn
Howard : I don't know how much of this you can air because CNN is a bit uptight. Pierce : Let's try it . hahahahahaah
Piers has a way where he asks a question , gets the person going...then interrupts half way through -only to ask him another pushy question.
@9:25 "I'm curious, what makes you- HAROLD STONE -get up and" etc etc Fucking hilarious. Harold Stone ladies and gentleman, the king of all media.
Howard Stern ….Piers who? He called it .
Ha Stern just took over the show
Piers is lost in this, and that was his career
Pure gutss
Apparently, this was shot before Howard went on America's got talent. Wonder if there was a deal in doin the interview?
I love this man.
two titans at work. Taking notes, I want to learn for these gentlemen.
Fred's sob story piano music would have come handy in parts of this interview.
Howard! Best wig money can buy. Still not one grey hair lmfao
The smartest bravest man in Media ever. Surprised he hasn't been taken out
Watch Howard Stern on Letterman in 1984... Very interesting
Howard is legendary. He was literally a game changer. Hes been the king for decades. Piers is just average at best, AT BEST. Even Joe Rogan is better than Piers. Piers is too mainstream & a try-hard to even be close to Howard’s level of fame. Piers should feel fortunate to have a LIVING LEGEND on his crappy show
Howard Stern And His Same Clown Wig 😂😂😂😂
at 12:08, who is the guy with his arm around Baba Booey?
I find comments here bizarre. Listen to 8.30. This is an authentic.moment. it's a good meeting of the two.
That I find myself watching two people I can't stand, means at least one of them is entertaining, I guess... Then again, I enjoy road rage videos.

I can’t stand piers and I’m ambivalent about stern.
This guy Pierce Morgan really started this whole thing off by saying he is the king of british media? I mean I dont know if thats true and I fully doubt it, but it reminded me of that GoT line. Any man who must say "I am the king" is no true king.
25:00 absolutely hilarious

everything is right about howard , a true bad-ass , in the most unlikely way
Why Fox picked up this Piers :Doush Bag" Morgan dude is very weird ??
why he still does it and wakes up early and goes there MONEY!!! PIERS ITS MONEY!!!! jeez christ no wonder you were fired.
Funny how Howard tells him at the start that to be successful you need to be comfortable being yourself. Piers Morgan reveals nothing of himself, really, where as Howard Stern derives power from his openness , he knows piers Morgan can't touch him because they're not on the same frequency
I like how the wasn’t intimidated by stern

Piers Morgan didn't even come close to reaching Howards status....not even close......HA
Piers definitely never listened to Howard Stern if he thinks his show is just hours of "sex, drugs, and strippers".
I love how Howard actually cant stand Piers Morgan, talks shit about him on his radio show, then has the balls to do an interview with him where he completely shreds him and turns the show into his own show. Just completely badass.

"I´m the King of British Media!" LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I love this interview. You can tell Piers was trying to get under Howard's skin but Howard is just way out of his league and flat doesn't give a fuck. Seeing Piers get handled like that on his show and not even know it at the time was classic. Thinking he could match wits with Stern....He might as well try to fight Brock Lesnar or something.

You're pretty dense if you think Piers was not in control of this interview. Piers is a very accomplished and savvy media type, even if you Americans don't know it. Match wits? It sounds as if two intelligent men are having a brilliant conversation. This is not a fucking cage match!

You obviously don't understand what an interviewer's job is. Piers performs his job brilliantly by drawing Howard into deeply personal and emotional topics and getting him to talk about it. If you can't see that you're hopeless.

howard is da man....
Piers, it's because Howard is naturally interesting, funny and complex. That's why. He's not a hack. You can say he's sold out in th he lost few years, but you can't deny he's incredibly cunning and DECENT. Just because he uses naughty words doesn't mean he's bad. He's a good man. He is so manipulative it's brilliant

Hi Baby - My thoughts exactly! He is a truly decent man who gives people a chance. He's very emotionally tough, and people confuse that with being heartless. I love watching him interact with all kinds of different people. And his work with animals makes him even more of a better man. Screw the haters!

Howard's first line killed it..and showed exactly who is BOSS..lmao
How could Piers Morgan think he is the best interviewer? Nothing he says is interesting. Whether you hate Howard or love him, you still can't stop listening to him. He is entertaining.
Piers doesn't know Howard. This interview started to get good when Howard asked the questions.
omg lol Howard turned it around in the first 30 seconds this was brutal...
