The best video I have found, I just bought the DJI pocket 2 for filming my car in the summer and other car shoot and I'm a complete newbie at it. So seeing this video has explained so much. Can't wait to get out there tomorrow and finally use the modes and see what I come up with. I hope you have more videos coming or on your channel. Because I want to know so much more about the DJI. Yay! Time to play, experiment and use the gimbal modes. The best thing is you can delete files as you practice. Once you master the modes, they will become natural to you as you decide on the fly what works for your projects. Let me know how it goes!

It took me a while to get the gimbal modes or what DJI calls follow modes because I went from photos, to video. You add a gimbal head to a lens and you have to think of not only filming motion, but also a lens that moves in 3 spatial planes! Thanks for watching and happy filming!

Superb explanations! Soooo much better when it's described and you give an example of why to use that mode. By far the best explanation. I absolutely love this camera but I don't use it all the time, so I have to refresher video pretty much each time I get ready to use it. I plan on using it a bunch this Christmas. Glad this helps! Take your time learning. A gimbal is a different beast, but once you learn how to use it and hone in on what you're trying to film, you'll get great results. Practice, and you will get faster too!

Yes! Don’t bring an extending selfie stick to WDW as they don’t allow them. You’ll have a great camera set up, and if you’re in low light, sometimes your phone is a great back up because the pocket’s sensor only does usable video up to ISO 400. Have fun!

This is the best video that I’ve seen describing the different follow modes. But I loved about the video as you took something that appears so complex to a new user like myself and simplify it for the types of shots that mow modes are best suited for. I plan on going to Disney with my son and now I have a better idea of which mode to use and I plan to practice before the trip. Any other suggestions on the different follow modes for a trip to Disney World on rides and following my son as he walks through the park

Many thanks for such a nice explanation! I have just started filming with my Pocket 2 and I was at lost with it, I mean about what mode I should use (I'm recording street scenes only). I tried all modes: FPV, Tilt and Follow, and was still trying to figure out how it really works. After your good explanation, now I know that the Follow and, perhaps, the Tilt modes are the most suitable to my recordings. Cheers!
