Are you using Pro Mode on the DJI Osmo Pocket? Switching to Pro Mode and manual mode can really give you more options and make your footage look so much better. Thanks for watching, I'd love to hear from you about whether or not you have switched to pro mode and what results you have seen?

Thank you for not being one of the 100 other Osmo pocket users to jump ship to a cheap knockoff competitor's. I love my Osmo pocket and hope to learn new things about it constantly, this video definitely helped me figure my way around pro mode!!

Thanks Jen. I still love the Osmo Pocket. To be honest one if the competitors is sending me a camera to review and I will keep an open mind. I think DJI set the bar pretty high. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Ha I have to admit I am one of those people who briefly tried promode but then I didn't like and I didn't really understand it so I switched back to auto mode. It's silly I know but the camera seems so easy in auto mode. Thaks for the video. I may give the promode a try again.

You can do it Jake...but if you hurt yourself, it's not my fault!

In pro mode, in my opinion, the most important thing is missing, namely the possibility to put the shutter in automatic mode. Having this possibility you could thus use a fixed ISO, and always have the same image quality with more or less the same exposure

Ya some other cameras have similar control on the shutter, I wish the Osmo Pocket had that as well. That's a good point.

Really argee with you. Osmo pocket is my number 1 choice for vlog, Just made a full Vlog using only Osmo Pocket. The quality of video is near Dslr camra with gimbal.

Yep it really is a great vlogging camera. Good quality and a small set up which is very convenient. Being light also helps :)

I shoot always in pro mode because even in pro mode the Osmo Pocket can shoot fully automatic. But i can tell the Osmo to under- or overexpose a certain amount. In my opinion there is no reason to use auto mode. Thanks for your videos!

My Osmo Pocket is my new favorite tool. As a solo creator I find the tracking of this camera to be the best. I tried the Webill S for its small body but could not make it work. The Osmo is easy, fast and reliable. I really want to get to know this little camera fully. I have invested in many accessories for it in search of the perfect set up. I have invested in ND filters, however, with all the options available: ND, ND/PL and CPL I am trying to figure out what would be the best. I'm thinking that the ND/PL may be the best option. No one really explains the difference between PL and CPL. Anyway, thanks for the vid. I have probably watched all the OSMO Pockets videos 😂

thanks for the comment. You made a smart choice purchasing ND filters. I think they are the number one accessory. If you have the ND/PL combo that will work well. As far as I know the difference between PL and CPL filters is that the CPL filters are circular and you can change the amount of polarization by turning the dial. Good luck with the filters. I had the DJi Osmo 1 , for 1 day and was checking menu settings & accidentally turn on pro mode from the Osmo settings, NOW camera just points upwardly continuously. Cant acces mode for taking pictures. and also the Gimbal axis settings as they are greyed out, even if i turn it off and on .. How do i get it back in Auto mode... When i tap the pro mode menu button, it doesnr switch back .

Hi, great video..!! one question - i bought pocket 2 couple of weeks ago and i am still learning how to use it. One thing that i am noticing is that i am getting a lot of grains and noise in my shots. Now, low light shots i can understand, but in i am getting those grains in golden hours also.. any suggestions?

What frame rate are you shooting at? Do you know what your iso was at? Sometimes even at golden hour the lighting can be tough. I haven't noticed much noise when my iso is low. I don't like to shoot over iso 1600 with the pocket 2. I hope this helps.

I’m so confused with white balance settings. I always keep mine on Auto, and it does a good job sometimes but I really want to get a better understanding so I have better control. I don’t know what mode I should be using, but I’ll keep at it! Thanks for the video

Auto white balance can work nicely for a lot of situations, but being able to control the white balance is better. Just test it out. if it's sunny use the sun whii balance, if it's cloudy, use cloudy. if you are unsure then go with auto. once you get comfortable you can pick the Kelvin temperature you like. Good luck.

Hello Deepak, I don't really use the Pocket 2 very often for photos. I do use it for panoramic shots. I try to shoot in manual mode and keep the iso as low as possible.

Nope, pro version is available on the Android version, I use an android. I normally use pro mode just with the camera and no phone attached.

That tiny screen puts me off from purchasing one.

Ya that's a good point. You can attach the phone to use as a bigger screen but I don't really like using the phone with the Osmo Pocket. A bigger screen would be great.
