TechTravelBeyond is about helping you live smart with Tech for your life at home or on the go.
Whether you travel for work, commute, or live life at home, we all use some form of technology.
One thing's for sure, though...there's so much media hype! So how can you learn to use some of the newest tech products when the big promoters and creators constantly move on to other shiny new objects? Are you getting a good value when you buy or upgrade? Should you just keep what you already have?
I'm Chuck, and as a 30-year aviation professional, I've seen technology change our lives, and I hope to help you live smarter with tech.
So let's explore tech together!
I'm also open to paid partnerships and promotional work!

I prefer keep the housing door completely out of the camera for motovlogging . What u say ?
I'm using the DJI Pocket 2 on my new KZread Channel. This video was a great help, thank you.
Please answer whether the DJI Osmo Action 3 can use the Saramonic SR2003 adapter?
Curious about that microphone, it appears you plugged that into your phone, how does the sound get onto the video file?
nice review,is there anyway to stop the pocket 2 to cut the videos in pieces?
This is a limitation of all SD cards. Video is limited to 4GB max, so each file is a still part of your continuous filming session. When in post production, you can merge the files in your video software. Here's an article for you: www.datavideo.com/us/article/530/sd-sd Thanks for watching!
@@TechTravelBeyond thank you very much

very helpful tysm
Thanks for watching!
You are so nice. I almost never push likes or comment, but now i did. Wish you had few hundred thouthends subscribers. Perhaps there are some flaws in the positioning of the channel, or are you simply not devoting much time to it?
You made my day with this comment! More videos soon...Thanks for watching!
My Pocket wasn't working with the DJI Mic, even with the Do It All Handle!! I connected the 3.5mm jacks, one to the Do It All handle, and one to the output DJI Mic, but it wasn't capturing any audio. I figured out I needed to remove the USB-C adapter on my output mic for it to actually transmit the audio to the Pocket!
The DJI Pocket is not a mixer, and only allows one source for input. You can use the onboard mics OR the USB-C for a compatible mic OR the 3.5mm input on the DoItAll handle. Only one source for input. Thanks for watching.
@@TechTravelBeyond thanks for the response!! That makes sense!
Thank you, this was helpfull!
thankyou. i just got the first osmo pocket for 50 bucks and idk how to use it. helpful video!
Well explained. Tnx
Thanks for watching! 🙂
@@TechTravelBeyond I thinking of buying on for my filming, or just stick with my main mirrorless camera as the video recorder??
really great information. Thanks... however, I HATE vertical videos. When was the last time you turned your big screen tv on its side.
Thanks for sharing your preference. This video was well under a minute and conveyed information suitable for KZread shorts. This format is viewable on both phones and landscape formats, and metrics show that it’s being viewed by both short and long-form viewers. I view KZread on my Sony 65” with AppleTV and watch both formats on the KZread app. Rest-assured, most of my content is long-form, wide screen. Thanks for watching!
Appreciate your reply. I got the adapter and it’s working fine.
Quiero comprar el dji mic 2 para mi gopro 11 se puede conectar ybme funcionarian ???
Great product. Been filming today in 4k and the battery drained rapidly, I took a power bank with me but this is a far better idea, thanks.
I charge on the go between shots with this Powerstick. It works for other cameras too! Thanks for watching!
@@TechTravelBeyond You’re welcome, your information and tutorials are excellent!
will this reduce battery performance? as this way we charged and use the battery at the same time
I usually charge between filming sessions while on the go. This works best for the camera too because heat doesn't become an issue. Thanks for watching!
Perhaps teach us how to set up face tracking
do we have to select Line In option in audio settings?
DOES THIS ALSO WORK WITH A SONY A6400
The Teleprompter unit itself has rings which will mount to the A6400. I use the A6400 too, and it works!
Link?😊

Thank You ! Great Tutorial ! Short, to the Point right on, interesting , perfect Audio level > Loved It ! bring more!
Thanks! What else would you like to learn?
Ah this was 3 years ago, just got one of these, my first gimball camera and wanted to know if I could use your last trick to attach a wireless mic instead of a wired one.... If you somehow get this... I was looking at the Boya BY-V20 USB-C Wireless Microphone.... Would it work?? I'm 'guessing' as you put a USB C to 3.5m in the USB and was able to attach a mic it would be simple but so many answers online say you HAVE to get the expensive handle from them....
It should work with any mic with a 3.5mm input. Just get the adapter I show you, and you can connect a mic to it. The link is in the description. Thanks for watching!
Thanks
Thanks for watching! Let me know if there's anything you'd like to learn more about with the DJI Pocket 2 or 3. 🙂
You wouldn’t be willing to sell your Phaiser Fusion One Earbuds would you? My right earbud charges constantly and drains the carrying case really fast. I can’t find these for sale anywhere.
I may just give you mine! I’ll respond here, because I need to see if they still work, and will give them to you! Give me to the end of this week, and I’ll let you know here by Friday.
@@TechTravelBeyond that would be great. I’ll keep a look out for your response.
@@TechTravelBeyond sorry to bother you but I was gonna check on the ear buds. I thought I would give it a few days before messaging you in case you were busy.
Thank you so much for such an amazing tutorial. I’m not great with tech but this really helped me setup my Sony for plug and play!
So glad this helped! Happy filming. 😉
Dji mic 2 have bluetooth. Isnt it working in go pro 2 by just using tx
DJI Mic 2 works via Bluetooth for computers and phones, but not GoPro.
I tried this. Sound is distorted. Actually worse than without the whole media mod
I had to turn down output volume levels a bit on the receiver, and verified via test shots.
Hi, what stick is that? I want to buy it for my DJI Action 2 please suggest
How to
It fit europa door ??? Only in Usa
Don't know about doors in Europe. Go to Eufy.com to check specs in the documentation.
will the dji mic 2 work with X on iPhone when you want to go live?
Honestly, I don’t stream live on X. Perhaps you can try a unpublished test session?
This is the best video that I’ve seen describing the different follow modes. But I loved about the video as you took something that appears so complex to a new user like myself and simplify it for the types of shots that mow modes are best suited for. I plan on going to Disney with my son and now I have a better idea of which mode to use and I plan to practice before the trip. Any other suggestions on the different follow modes for a trip to Disney World on rides and following my son as he walks through the park
Hi, I have the dji pocket 2 and after i record a video i dont hear any sound. What am i doing wrong?
Can I export audio file from the mic and use it when editing?
Hi Jay! Get the DJI Mic 2 Manual here: dl.djicdn.com/downloads/DJI_Mic_2/20240426/UM/DJI_Mic_2_User_Manual_V1.2_EN.pdf On Page 22, it states standalone recording and noise reduction functions aren't available in Bluetooth mode. So, if you simply use the mic in standard, non-Bluetooth that would be available. See the manual for more info about onboard recording.
I own it but and like is a lot but it is missing a cold shoe mount for, say, an external Mic (Rode Wireless Pro, etc.). Without the DJI Pocket 2 to phone plug it is loose in the holder. There is no need for the plug b/c the All in One supports phone connectivity. Just an observation. I still like it but I want MORE.
True, no device or accessory is perfect for everyone. Thanks for watching!
This video ultimately helped me make my choice to get this teleprompter to know I can adjust the setup without risking weight on my lens! Thank you 😊
Glad this helped! I still use the ZV1 this way, and my lens. barrel has remained intact. Thanks for watching!
How far can you see from a distance with the teleprompter I'm looking at getting one but sometimes I got to shoot at a little distance away as I do unboxing reviews for products
can u use a splitter and use 2 lav mics?
Great video! Thanks.
Can u connect just the mic with Bluetooth.??
If you have the DJI Mic 2 Transmitter, it will connect via Bluetooth to the DJI Osmo Action 4. That is the only model with Bluetooth mic enabled. If you have the DJI Mic and DJI Mic Receiver, this video shows how it works with GoPro models using their proprietary ways of connecting audio which is the GoPro Audio adapter or the GoPro Media Mod.
Great vid and I thank you. My situation is this: I already have an adapter ring attached to the lens of my ZV1 that I use ocassionally with the ulanzi wide angle lens. Do you think having this ring would pose a problem when I'm trying to get my lens to line up with the CAME TV ? they are both 52mm so when the lens on the ZV1 opens it would essentially be the same diameter as the ring on the CAMTV adapter so it would not be able to slide through it?.. i don't want to have to remove this ring and i don't trust this ring to hold the weight of the telemprompter if i was to attach directly.. i appreciate any wisdom you could share .
Perfect, thank you. I found some completely pre-drilled stainless wall plates on eBay by searching for "smart doorbell Nutone Wall Plate"
Does DJI mic 2 work with pocket 2
Yes, but not wirelessly directly to Pocket 2. You must connect the DJI Receiver to the 3.5mm Mic Input on the DoItAll Handle. If you don't have the DoItAll Handle, use a USB-C to 3.5mm TRS Adapter linked in the video description.
Helpful thanks!
Thanks for Watching!🙂
just got this before a dj gig so I can record for a while thankyou
Glad this helped! 👍
Thanks when i read that there was no way you could charge and rcord at the same time it was almost a deal breaker until i saw this
Glad this helped! 👍
Great video!
Thanks for watching! 🙂
Extremely useful. So many reviews for action cameras focus so heavily on the footage and will edit music on top of it with the audio cut out. I love that this entire piece is dedicated to the sound. Can't thank you enough.
Wow! Thanks for this. I’m thinking of doing another Action 2 video since it’s still good, still for sale, and others still use it. What more would you like to see about it?
Thanks! This really helped me out.
Thanks for watching, Jane! 😉
Thank you very much for this video. I can't find the CAME-tv plate anywhere (The one you have attached to your tripod). Can you help me find a link for that? Thanks.
