That looks like the guy I spoke to on the bus home a few months back! I asked him if he’d consider coming to the Central, but he enjoys the Picc!

The 1973 stock was actually built in 1974; it turns 50 next year

@@deadaccount2048 I’m not really sure I think it just echos and sounds loud underground possible the 700 has a quieter horn than this but I don’t think so

It’s like a mouth whistle, I think it’s tradition and new trains like the S Stock and 09 stock have it, I think the button sends air to something that makes the sound

The interior looks relatively new and modern nonetheless the 73 stock is over 50 years old

Great_Western 2020 no problem, it’s only the 1972 stock on the bakerloo line that uses roller blinds now
