My Quaker Ko-ko says his name, yeah, and my name. He also makes fart noices, clicking sounds, and sort of a quack sound. He likes to fluff and bob his head a lot.

It tends to be my experience that birds do not like things over their heads, like coming at him from over him or putting your hand higher than him. I may be wrong but, it does seem to be a common trend between a lot of birds.

Some birds don't like to be touched on their heads or backs. I've had a few budgies over the years, and the first one always threatened to bite if approached from above his head or back.

He's not going to be nice, because he's in a hormonal nesting mode, which will cause aggression. Just because he's saying something cute doesn't mean he's enjoying the interaction!

Remember, happy huts don't make them happy. They make them territorial and it is downright bad for them.

That is not true. If you have a large cage, the hut is just his sleeping area. All wild quakers sleep in enclosed nests their whole life. Happy huts make them feel safe.

Quakers are my favorite parrots. They're only downside is that they are very territorial and they are a one person bird. But that's not always such a bad thing haha

I don't know how much experience you have had with Quakers, but if you want to scratch him, start on his cheek near his beak, this vid shows that he will let you do that. Just brush his feathers against their direction of growth. If he likes it, he will fluff up his head feathers, and possibly put his head down, that means he would like you to scratch his head, and that he may love you for ever. He is a sweet bird. Makes me miss my Charlie.
