That Camelot scene was my first introduction to Philomena Cunk. I haven't looked back since

Certain experts seemed comfortable playing along with Diane Morgan. Irving Finkel, for example leaned into the role and had fun. Professor Ashe looks like she lost a few brain cells every time she dealt with this show.
Each time she says "my mate Paul.." you know there's a banger coming

The fact that she's trying so bad to hold her laughter at Cunk's ridiculous questions is so amusing and funny to watch. The whole "Jesus painting himself" bit became my favorite after the Camelot one because how she ended up following along with the joke but still trying to keep herself as professional as she could lol Also the Camealot clip became 10x times funnier knowing that it was the first thing she asked to the professor after she sat down lmao

"Are there any paintings where he's being crucified as a baby?" That cracked me up.

the way her face contorts after cunk says "...table spoon" kills me 🤣
One of the best professors in the show, she tries to explain and answer most of the questions, but acknowledges when she can't. She knows her subject, and doesn't come off as condescending
1:20 the way that the professor had to just process that for a bit was hilarious---
"About a tablespoon."
Oh! I love her expressions. I mean Dr Laura. Philomena is a phenomenal character I know. But this professor is so so delightful to watch, she is different from all other professors Philomena has ever faced.

Oh my god, Laura’s so strong holding her laugh! 😂 but at the sale time you can see her making such an incredible effort! This is gold!
Your mate Paul leads such an interesting, if at times disturbing life. You must be such a great friend to him.
I love this professor
1:20 you can tell her soul died a little inside 😂
2:42 that woman was fighting for her life lmfao

Sir Arthur Came-a-lot
Brilliant research, writing, delivery, and improvisation. Got to love this!
Any time she says "My mate Paul" watch out for whatever comes next!😂😂😂😂
I just can’t even get over how very fabulous she is
I love watching them try desperately to grasp her non sequiturs, and develop a professional answer. Their faces are just a picture after question 1. Some adapt better than others and yet all try to give answers like there’s a classroom of kids watching!!
The interviews are all so good. But my favorite Cunk bit is when she's looking at stone-age tools in a museum and points out the stone axe is "as well as boring, they are shit". :D
the experts reaction are all meme worthy 😂
That professor must be an amazing teacher. I don’t know how she kept it together lol
The Prof is knocking it out the park, keeping up with Cunk 😂
Love the title. It suggests a conflict and I wasn't disappointed.
I know I should feel guilty about how much that prison story makes me laugh..
That is great. Laura seems a nice person but really struggling to hold herself together. So much fun

These questions, her simple-minded way of asking, listening and responding and how cool "Philomena" stays, while the person she talks with gets more and more confused! It's hard to believe! It's philomenal! I love her art a lot! You ask, if I came a lot? I‘m not King Arthur. As far as I know...

I like to think her mate Paul is the same Paul from the Bible.
crazy how Philomena has such well defined eyes like you wouldn't find a person who has eyes more than she does, whereas dr Ashe just has spots on her face

Mate Paul had quite a life
I find Cunk's style quite funny since I don't relate to that history. But I wonder the historians would be pretty offended by her callous remarks 😀.
She (expert lady) came out thinner or leaner in this episode, in comparison with the king arthur and his tablespoon episode.
