Philippines Special Forces Are On The Hunt For ISIS Militants (HBO)

Last month, ISIS-linked militants attempted to establish South East Asia's first Islamic State caliphate on the southern Philippines island of Mindanao. What followed was a bid from the Philippines armed forces to crush the militants and reestablish order. VICE News gained exclusive access to embed with the Philippines special forces to learn about the realities of war on the front lines of Marawi.

Real war Philippines Special Force win win stop a terrorist save lives. U.S have never thought of it that way but damn if you didn't nail Spoken like the true patriot you are. War terrorist political dangerous security threat U.S national security interests is prority in America other's world. It isn't the prority Iran,Isreal,Russian,Northern korea, some America,China agendas worse no better world. How do real wars happen Philippines agreat, stringer safe again? Two or more sides disagree on who runs that country. And they can't settle the question through suffering silence and our world similarly struggle because they don't even agree that Philippines Special Force are how you decide protecting all Philippines hide, run, fight save themselves who's in charge good leader's has difficult time. That's the basic issue here. Who decides who runs the country save lives these black flag are not Muslim lie misinterpreted lslam small people's world think horrible ideas bad guy's everywhere in the world reunited power the world people?

@Leo Walzim I don't think so, as far as i know us gov sends soldiers to fight isis in other countries like syria? And I think the U.S is considering or have already withdrawn their soldiers from fighting because they don't get any benefit from it, which is bad for the innocent people in the country who needed protection. I don't see how they will keep this kind of wars if right now they're actually considering on not fighting them

I did a 6 week leadership school with the PI Army in Hawaii. They are super hard working & super humble. Theyre very friendly & a lot of fun to work & joke with! They take their jobs & their reason for being there very serious! I've been on countless patrols & missions & I've been in some of the most f'd up situations during combat operations with a number of foreign military units...I would not hesitate one bit to fight alongside PI soldiers!!!

abudlah mohamuf: The nonprofessional actions of the *Filipino troops have endangered the lives of 45 Fijian soldiers.* They have defied orders at a time when *Gen Iqbal Singh had negotiated a ceasefire with the rebels* to ensure that all troops in the conflict area could exit. But the Filipinos got scared when rebels reached near their position and first fired and when could not hold, escaped to the Israel. What was the need to fire and escape when you were given orders that a ceasefire has been negotiated and there is no need to panic by seeing the enemy near you. *But the coward Filipino soldiers thought only about themselves and got the 45 Fijian soldiers who were kidnapped, close to be killed.*
