Jalen Hurts is such a humble guy, and you see that he doesn’t want the praise. He’s all about team and he lets his play do the talking rather than draw undue attention to himself or gloat over the team’s success

@@Redfeather80 Lost to the Lions by 1. Lost to the Dolphins by 3. Lost to the Vikings by a score. 7 out of the 11 losses have been by one score, but that's fine because this season was always supposed to be a rebuild year and a year for Fields to improve. We've accomplished both.

Hargreaves and Sweat both balled out with 2 sacks a piece but watching the game, Reddick put his hands on Fields at least 5-6 times and could've had about 4 sacks if Fields wasn't so elusive. The whole team deserves credit but Hassan was a menace today so I see why he said that.

Houston took the Chiefs to ot. That should have been a blowout just considering records alone but as Chris Berman once said, that’s why they play the games.

Justin Fields has a really bright future. His disallowed TD run was fantastic. He can throw then ball like a sky rocket, he can run the ball like a cheetah. Bears should only improve their defensive team to be dominant in their division. The fact that they lost most of their games by a small amount of points shows that they can really be competitive and dominant in next years.

Future is bright in Chicago for the Bears :)

As a bears fan, I just wanna look forward to the offseason with the cap space and draft picks we have to upgrade the offensive line, get more threats at WR, and improve the defense

Javon Hargrave now with double digit sacks on the year he's a great DT reminds me of the great JB, I'm thankful the Steelers let Javon go as Hargrave is the best passing rushing DT in the NFL he's making first team all pro and the pro bowl as I voted for him many times!

From an eagles fan: well done bears! You have a stud at QB. That defense was ferocious today and made hurts bail out the stagnant offense. Id have high hopes for next season😊

Fields is this good with a horrid o line.. without Mooney or Claypool.. or N'Keal Harry.. or St. Brown.. literally throwing to the #4 WR as the #1. The Bears have 130 million + cap for 23.. and a top 3-4 pick.. it terrifies me to think about what the Bears are capable of in 23-24 and beyond. Fields is a faster, better running version of Hurts. If the Bears can build like the Eagles with a line and a top receiver this offseason, they will be a playoff team in no time.

Fields is a bad qb but a phenomenal runner. Even when he has all the time in the world he's run first. He needs to work on getting the ball out in anticipation. It's not all on the cast.

It's crazy that the eagles struggle games have been against losing teams but have dominated winning teams. A win is a win tho 🦅🦅

I think this shows as much as Jalen is a special talent, that Philly defence is incredible. Took a full team effort to put away the Bears.

What I am sure about though is that the I have absolutely overrated the Chiefs and underrated the Eagles. I believe the Chiefs are capable of beating anybody because of how nuclear Mahomes is, but can lose to anybody because they often make the other QB look like Mahomes. This is not the case on the Eagles. That defense travels!

To be able to gather yourself after two first half turnovers and just ball out regardless for the dub..... THAT right there is the MVP. D line did a great job too.

This ain't college. These men are professionals for a reason. Too many stupid fans mark games on a schedule as 'easy'. Thank god none of us play. No game is ever easy so kudos to Chicago for coming out and playing and not rolling over. 13-1, Go Eagles 🦅

The Chiefs are both the most talented team and the most likely to get beat in the first round of the playoffs. They have a dynamic offense but make just enough dumb plays per game that a lesser team that plays well might beat them. The defense looks great one week and looks like Swiss cheese the next, sometimes even during the same game.

I knew Jalen was going to be a star when he did the pre draft Baldy breakdown. Dude just has legends besides themselves with his humility and leadership skills. MVP.

This was a really good game considering how cold, windy & bright it was in Chicago.

MOST underrated play of the game: Hurts (0:53) where he not only keeps the play alive with his feet but then has the composure and vision to look downfield, see a WR and while throwing awkwardly across his body just to get it off and its INCH-perfect along the sideline where only the WR could get it...he has the #3 ranked Completion % AND the top QBR - this dude is elite with his arm AND with his legs!! (just look at our yardage breakdowns between the packers game and titans game where we adjusted and dominated nboth teams with TOTALLY opp focuses on running vs passing

Jalen Hurts had his mvp moment today. Struggling offense, very bad playcalling. Had a bad INT early in the game, but when the Eagles were facing adversity, and nothing was going right for them, he led that offense. He only had 2 other guys show up today, AJ and Devonta. 300 passing yards. 3 Rushing TDs, a 2pt conversion. Love Mahomes, and he’s making the MVP race close, but I think it has to be Hurts right now.

It wasn’t pretty but at this point in the season, winning pretty doesn’t matter. Winning period is the only thing that matters. The alternative would be doing what Dallas did. Proud of the way our guys battled today.

Man. Justin Fields was better than advertised. I think they have a good one in Chi-Town if they build around him like we did. Hats off to Jalen. Even after having two bad picks he settled down and made the big throws and runs to win the game. Shows a lot of growth. MVP for sure. Oh good lord, you thought this was a _race?_ How delusional Cowboys fans are. They'll make the playoffs: they may even win in the first round. But at their best they are nowhere _near_ the Eagles. Speaking of which, if people could let go of tradition & obeyed geography you'd be in the NFC south & running away with that division by now leaving Carolina to be steamrolled in the east. There aren't any real current rivalries between Dallas & any NFC east teams anymore. I'd apply for an immediate switch.

I’m not a bears fan but the bears really played good today I’m proud of the performance I seen they didn’t give up nii oh matter what gotta love the effort

I’ve gotta gives props to the NFL channel for even just showing a brief camera shot of Hurts on the sideline after he was taken off the field. Though subtle, it was a huge improvement in watching compared to past weeks when quarterbacks get taken off and the viewers have no idea. Way to listen to your audience.

Proud of the Bears today. Velus though I’m kind of done with you dude. Can't believe Justin Fields, down his top three receivers (depending where you put ESB), without one of our only good O-linemen, against one of the best defenses in the league, just made it a five point game against the best team in the NFL. I'll take it.

FLY EAGLES FLY!!!!! PHI is flying high at the moment and are now 13-1 on the season. Hurts didn't have a particular MVP type game, but he picked it up in the 2nd and got the W which is what matters. Love watching this guy play and he's only going to improve. PHI fans enjoy the ride because it will be a good ride for years to come. Congrats on the win PHI 💪.

The 49ers have a legit defense but will a 7th round draft pick perform in the playoffs and take the 49ers all the way to SB? Highly unlikely but not impossible

So great and super an early Christmas gift as Doug helped the Birds out and was a Grinch and handed the Boys an upset loss in Jacksonville! Lawrence is a young bright QB Trevor will be a great one!

My favorite part was when Jalen Hurts said it’s hurting time, and he hurt all over the Bears. Definitely a game that was played

As a Bears guy, I was shocked at our performance against the top team in the NFC ,if not the NFL. Really good showing. Just need my qb to open up them passes, but gotta protect and get him talent to catch them bombs. Over time he can be on that Hurts level. Credit to the Green Birds, y'all got a killer squad all over. 🍻

Jalen keeps showing he can handle adversity and learn and comeback from any mistakes he may make. Thats my MVP. The Eagles could have lost like thr Cowboys did to JAX. But they didn't. Bears have the least sacks in the league with their starters in, never mind going into the depths of the special teams corps. 2 pick outing, mostly against guys that might not make the practice squad, is how you evaluate MVP play? Hurts focused on his next opponent. Micah focused on the Eagles. And that's exactly why one team is a win away from clinching the 1 seed and the other realistically has to settle for a WC spot now.

Lifelong Chicagoan and Bears fan since 1981. The Eagles are as fundamentally sound and well oiled as a team the league has seen in a while. They have everything down pat even to the strength and conditioning coach. As far as my Bears, this has been the story all year. They put themselves in position to win, but not good enough. Unfortunately, they're paying the price for the train wreck the previous regime left behind. Hopefully things will improve this off-season.

There are no easy games in the NFL. Good win 💯💯.

49er diehard here but, I'm glad the Eagles pulled thru today, and that Dallas lost. Jalen isn't just a beast as much to me as he is a competitor.

Fields is such a breathe of fresh air for Chicago.

These are the the type the games that gives me confidence in the eagles going far. Congratulations to both teams

I think this shows what kind of team the bears really are. They're on their way to being dangerous. I'm not mad about the bears season because I know they're under new coaching and development. This wasn't even an any given Sunday situation. Both teams came with it today and the W was earned by every yard. The bears brought the business to the best team in the NFL and other solid contenders this season. The bears record doesn't really show what this team is. Fields is going to be a solid QB but we need to be able to rely on throwing ball and the run game coming from the running backs alone. GG Philly.

Even on our bad days we look good. Go birds 🦅

As an eagles fan, i was scared shitless of fields before this game, and even tho we won, man is he good, if the bears draft well they could have similar results to us. Fields just needs a true number 1 put Mooney or claypool as the 2nd or 3rd and get a tight end and that offense will evolve, plus draft oline. But the ebars have the cap and draft picks to work with

Another classic beast like performance from the Eagles D line 6 sacks today as Sweat, Reddick, and Hargrave all with 2 apiece for sure all three of them should have been voted to the pro bowl and should make some all pro teams as really the Birds whole D line deserves to make the pro bowl and many all pro teams!

Is RB A.J. Brown going to the Pro Bowl!? Wow, his yards are 100+ per game these days! Great Team win by the Philadelphia Eagles!

From an Eagles fan to the Bears, we have the playbook and you just have to copy it; 1. Justin Fields has to put in the work this offseason to become the true dual threat he's promising to be. He has to improve on his passing game 2. The Bears have to help him out with some talent, first in the trenches with the o-line, then with some wideouts. We've done it and the results are there for all to see. You can do it too. You have the basis laid out for a good team in your future. Good game.

As an Eagles fan I’ve always wanted a rivalry with the Bears. I’m not sure why but I’ve always wanted the bears to do well unless they’re playing us obviously.. (raises glass) here’s to a Eagles-Bears rivalry in the near future

Davonta Smith came up HUGE this game. I know people will credit Hurts for overcoming everything and keeping a cool head and the defense for holding them but without Smith making several important plays, we lose that game. Hell of a game by the Bears, gg
