    @@Jessy_247 I actually think he’s pretty cool overall. Even when he throws tantrums it’s almost like he’s self aware enough and he understands people are going to make fun of him but he accepts it because it’s just part of his process 😂

    From what I hear Ivey like most of these "pro players" is in serious financial trouble. They overspend, they get tax trouble, they're compulsive gamblers who we see win big, but we don't see when they lose big. These people do not have enviable lives. And they need the money badly enough they have to go on TV and debase themselves.

    @@orgoniteyahgoniteaustralia6888 Ivey isn’t in financial trouble. Dude is worth 125 million. Between endorsements and partnerships alone, he’s probably in the black. Add on career winnings in about every variation of poker there is and his tendency to absolutely rake in high stakes baccarat, Phil is one of the few ultra rich “gamblers” who doesn’t have a tendency to lose big.

    I love them letting us hear the table talk. Ivey is annoyed and just bored by NLH. Not enough action for him and the pace of play is putting him to sleep. He needs 50 online hands at once to stay interested.

    I can't stand when players do that. I understand being annoyed by it. Im trying to win easy money and I'm currently taking advantage of this situation. Advising a player making poor choices to play better is not good for the game.

    I'm guessing you haven't run into ace king or better enough. Remember the action. Phil raises under the gun, IVEY 3 bets in next position. 4 betting with Ace Queen in his spot is terrible due to possibly going up against a bigger hand and that those two have early position. They are leading out whether they hit or not. Years of lessons.

    Its a simple read for Ivey and it has been. He misses " the game " and being stuck at this level with "these guys" has been draining on him. The contracts etc. The image. To him- he was a somebody when he was a nobody out playing and living "the Lifestyle"

    @jcorb It was my understanding that they filmed early causing Ivey to miss his golf game, which considering its Ivey, probably had a lot of money involved. Between that and the improper etiquette, he had every right to be annoyed.

    He's actually not that introverted,he's quite a character when he's not in hands or like here in a bad mood,iv met him and seen him live a few times before and he actually talks quite a bit off the felt.i think here he just didn't want to be there but had to be because of the contract.add on top how annoying everyone else at the table is too
