If I had my way, we’d all live to be a 100 but stop aging when we’re 40. Just think of how many more great albums artists like Phil, Sting, James Taylor, etc. could make with the same creativity and strong vocals they had in their prime. I remembered the melody of this song, growing up as a child. (Boy did my late mother have great taste in music) And recalling how it was. Point is, now that I've taken the opposite to actually understand the lyrics, this song, overall means missing out, waiting for that one, special woman to come back into your life, really wanting to see her again.

The album from where this song comes from has got to be the most underrated album Phil has... a hidden gem. Aside from "but seriously..." , i consider this one of his best when he is being serious and reflective in his music rather than playful. I still like the others, but this one shows a different side of him as an artist.
