As a 26 year old, I adore the 1926 Phantom of the Opera and I love the performance of Lon Chaney which i consider one of my top 5 horror films of all time. There’s so much beauty and gothic horror to it.

I'm still amazed by the fact that Neca is making Universal monsters figures. That's a dream come true for me lol. The Phantom looks incredible. I think Neca has a London After Midnight figure planned as well.

That thing is beautiful. I wish I had more space for more of these figures. I’ll definitely snatch this one up if I see it and give it to someone as a gift. I know someone who loves The Phantom of the Opera and would love this figure.

My first viewing of the movie was at my local Alamo Drafthouse several years ago where they had a guy playing the music to the film live. It was a pretty cool experience. It's also nice to see a movie adaptation that is actually close to the book as every other movie version seems to copy the Claude Raines movie where he is scarred by an accident, not born deformed. I love how many heads he comes with, but some come off more hilarious rather than terrifying. Gives me some ideas for photos though.

I wonder if Neca will continue the line with a Metaluna mutant or a mole man. I still hope we get an Invisible man robe version, that’s the most iconic look for him. They recently also announced a Frankenstein’s monster from bride with chair.

Just a heads up. He doesn’t come with a cane. That’s his breathing tube that he uses when he walks under water underneath the Opera House

New theme is great. You're getting closer to 31K man. ok, Roddy Piper in Alcatraz was in 1997 and I remember that b/c I got that PPV as a kid lol This is a cool figure. NECA has just knocked it out of the park with the Horror movie icons. But Phantom of the Opera is probably the one I know the least about. A London after Midnight figure would be really cool.

I found the phantom in Eue Clare and after opening it, I have to get two so I have one with the mask on. I loved the 1925 Phantom of the opera movie. Great video.

These Universal Monster NECA figures are my absolute favorite. They remind me of my own dad. He loved all these movies so naturally I love them too.

One of the best lines NECA has going and the Phantom appears not to disappoint! Waiting for mine. Great insight about the movie provided by you dad! You two play off each other very well. Love it when you say something that catches him off guard and he breaks into a smile. If I had a channel and was doing a Top 10 video on KZread videos... this just shot to number 1! 🎉 PS: Love the new intro!

It's not a cane it's a breathing tube/snorkel, theres a sequence in the movie(at 1:12) where the phantom sneaks around under the canal water using it to breathe. As for future figures NECA has a poster on their site which shows the list of figures and there is a Nosferatu and Professer Burke, plus on the TMNT line they have a hunchback so I imagine that'll cross over. I'd like to see a Dr Jeckyll/Mr Hyde, I'm not sure who owns that ,and then supporting cast like Ygor and Dr Frankenstein, Maleva the gypsy, Van Helsing, Renfield etc

Whoa! Uncanny resemblance to my 5th grade teacher, Mr. Blair... The Phantom has a better taste in shoes, by far, and a much warmer smile. 😅 Mr. Blair, was, uh, unpleasant, with a rather unusual odor; something akin to moth balls and cheap liquor. Might buy one for him, to send along with the get sick card. 🤣 No, no, seriously, I'm just kidding. Just joking. I'd never spend $30 on Mr. Blair.

That's NOT a cane! If you look at the front of the box, it's the movie poster and it depicts the Phantom underwater (in the sewers) using a snorkel to breathe. That accessory piece is a snorkel, not a cane.

I love these figures , just hate the flap on the front of the box, I am a MOC collector , cant see the figures when I place them up on the wall with a tac, all I see is the poster art , if I want to see poster art , I will buy a poster .. do us all a favor Neca , clam shell these fuckers with less accessories , charge $19.99 a pop, and call it a day .. I would buy 4 of each of them, as it stands , I buy one of these under protest because they are so cool.. the glow in the dark Remco retro figures are the best so far, I have 4 of each .. see how that works ... 4 instead of 1..
