Dracula is the only universal monster so far that has actual differences in sculpt and accessories between the colored and b&w version. If Neca did that with all of the sets I’d be willing to buy both versions instead of just sticking with the colored versions.

if the coffin came with sleeping heads for dracula in both color and b/w that would’ve ruled. i need a whole castle play set.

A couple fun facts one i just discovered that Bella Lugosi wasn't who universal had in mind to play Dracula. There was 3 or 4 actors they had in mind. But they fell through. Another fun fact the cast hated the movie. They thought it was terrible. Too bad they didn't live to see how beloved Dracula would become. Dracula was an innovator of the horror genre.

I want your Morbius t-shirt!!! That was the very first comic book I ever bought with my own money. Anyway, while I can not wait for get the backdrop and coffin for my Dracula, I have to say it is hands down the weakest of the three accessory sets. It just feels so lackluster compared to what came with the other two. A table for the plates and glasses that came with Dracula would have been nice.

I just watched the movie and at near the very beginning, there is that Jerusalem cricket climbing out of a mini coffin when Dracula and his wives are getting out of theirs. I don't know what it means or any of that but that exact thing with a small coffin is in the movie

Yes I use that in many videos as my dad from back when I was a kid

The videos with the both of you keep getting better and better. As far as Dracula goes, I’ve been collecting both the color and BW Universal monsters from NECA and this is a time I lean much more towards preferring the BW Dracula over the color version. Also, small note, the cape is nicer with the black and white version- it adds a gray lining not found on the color release.

I just ordered: Dracula ( colour) bride of Frankenstein and wolf Man! Waiting patiently! I think your dad might be the coolest Neca reviewer on KZread!! Love the channel!

Kyle wanna say great review on this masterpiece of a figure. My father and I used to watch all of the universal monsters movies. Unfortunately my father passed away back in August of 2020 due to cancer. Again great review keep up the great work.

I think in the movie the Jerusalem cricket crawls into some bricks that look kind of like that, but maybe it is a mini-coffin. Jerusalem crickets freak me out. They look like mutated alien ants. I’ve only been face-to-face with one once, and I was completely grossed out. BTW, Jerusalem crickets are not true crickets. I don’t know why they’re called crickets. Possums and Opossums are different animals, but they are similar. One is native to Australia and the other is native to North America. I can’t remember which is which or how to tell them apart.

The accessory pack looks cheap, it’s not worth the £50 tag in the UK.

Little known fact. Dracula was a germ a phob that's why he wore the gloves. He would often be heard saying yuck what a mess before sucking the blood of his victims. Of course someone can fact check me of course. Lol
