***** Bill, I'm not sure if you're going to reply but I hope you do, but if you rotate the 280 around with the ports on the top, will the 280 fit without the need of drilling holes?
i wanted to take the time to say thank you for making these videos. you're the only one i know that goes into that much detail, which is what a lot of us who are planning a full custom pc need before buying, you're awesome. keep making videos
I freaking love your reviews so much! They feel complete, very detailed and with those close ups that I like. Keep it up Bill, nice work!
Fantastic review. It hasn't lost any relevance seven years later. I'm actually using it as a reference to configure and install my cooling fans. Good stuff.
I got on of these in 2021 and it still looks and works great. The specs say it comes with 2 ssd mounting brackets but only has one but they sell them for $9 on Amazon. They say the case has 2 places to mount ssd's but it looks like there are really 3, with one on the motherboard side and 2 on the backside, one down low that they don't talk about. I don't care for the way the drive cages block the front fan but I guess the pressure will push the air through somehow. i have added the 3 fans up top and I'm sure it will cool just fine. My MB and SSD's come today and I will finish it up.

Getting the same case. (Full Glass Side Update) What MB and CPU did you use? Any problems with the CPU cooler? How is the cooling? Any issues I should look out for? Thanks.
Really enjoyed your thorough review, especially going over all the pieces and placement options! I have the full tempered glass side window version of the Enthroo Pro case for a couple of years. I am glad Phantek offers a lot of customization and cable management options.
II appreciate you showing all the compatibilities with all the fans and coolers. Allowed me to consider many options while waiting on my case to arrive.
Thanks for the review, couldn't come at a better time! I might just have to pick up one of these to house my rig while I work customizing the ol' 600T
I've had this case for 5 years now, it's been threw about 3 builds and many mods. Awesome Awesome case!!

thank you, and thanks for watching!
Building my first p.c and this case looks amazing, can't wait to get it.
Quality in-depth review. Great job. And good on Phanteks making such a great case available at a great price. I'll most definitely be looking into getting my hands on one.
Wow! Other manufacturers need to up their game. Phanteks has delivered two very persuading offerings to market. Another top quality review Bill, Thanks man.
best in-depth review of the enthoo pro out there, and I watched a lot. Thank you Bill Owen, was great to watch, smooth voice, really enjoyable overall, welcome your new subscriber :) greets from germany!
overview? this is a badass review! Great as always Bill
This case just arrived yesterday and I'm loving it, great for my home server :)
This is probably the best case I have ever used.

I agree. I've had it since 2016. I took my PC apart recently this year to clean out my components. To my surprise there was minimal dust build after 4 years. It's solid built and has sooo many options to maneuver. Simple yet elegant
Very detailed. thank you very much i almost felt like the case was mine . Subscribed
This is what you call a in depth review. Very informative. Cheers pal
As always nice in depth review Bill. Considering price and build quality Phanteks have really knocked this one out of the park. Other case manufacturers will have to take note.
Got this case earlier this week. Looking forward to building in it. Major upgrade from my Antec Nine Hundred. It was a good case in 2008, but its had several upgrades that Ive done to it, plus yearly thourough cleaning so its starting to wear out. This case here looks much easier to modify and clean. The front end of this case looks much easier to put drives in. My old case is a nightmare to work on the front. The slotted fan mounts idea is genius!
Jeez, this case has it all. I think I know what I'm buying for my next build (windowless variant. Not a window case type of guy). And it is VERY cost effective compared to other big name brands. Just an incredible case. Thanks for reviewing this item.
Well done, this is how case review should look like.
Wow this case looks simply amazing, such quality and ease of use for an extremely reasonable price. I wish this was around back when i bought my Phantom full tower. This is cheaper and nicer!
Great video Bill, you gave me a lot of great info for watercooling the case. I miss the old gloss finish on the GTX rads...
Thank you SO MUCH for this. I'm just installing a new Corsair radiator and I couldn't see where I could unscrew the front and top panels. I didn't want to just prise them off in case I damaged something! You've saved me a lot of time 🙂 Subbed!
Even though my gaming rig is currently in a Cooler Master Storm Trooper, I may have to get one of these. I really like the looks and features.
I am sold!, Gonna get myself 1 of these soon after Amazon refunds me back need to replace my too tight of a midi case... But ye, so far this is the type of video that I like, very comprehensive and wouldn't mind the 30 minute watching time, totally worth it. From all the case reviews I have seen, this is one of the best comprehensive one's, going through each and every part of it + putting sample mounting points for rads etc, no doubt this video is the way to go for reviews.!. I'ma subscribe too, very good helpful content !
22:13 Thanks for this. My air cooler is on its last legs so I ordered an AIO. I almost bought a 280, but I have my drive bays full. So I ended up going with a 240. Your video helped me avoid a headache so I appreciate it

Thats great! Thank you for watching .... Bill at www.mnpctech.com
Was hoping you would review this case. Its beyond expectations to say the least. Gotta get the store i work for to carry it asap. Too bad i just got another case. Would get phanteks without a second thought otherwise.
Ordering the pro case for an Intel I 9 12900K .. planing to use a 240 AIO on top . ( no over clocking ) update build was finished the case was perfect no issues with stand offs or mounting the AIO plenty of room to plug accessories into motherboard . And nice part the optical drive was able to be installed with AIO installed . I 9 at idle is around 24 C .. . Cable management awesome . Looks great in the dark with the big side window . Gave PC to wife … I still have a key to the door ..LOL
The coolest (and best) review of this case in the net. Thank you! If anything isn't covered in this video, you should go to a doctor.
Best review out there! Good job man!
I just bought one 6 months ago for the cd bays alone, and all the good reviews for it. I got the tempered glass version. I love it.

The competition is baffled how Phanteks will make any money from the Enthoo Pro by undercutting everyone. It's very simple, Phanteks knows that people will talk about the low price, so the community does all of the marketing for them, hence saving them in advertising dollars. Case of the year!
Awesome review! I'm thinking of getting this one.
This is one amazing case. I would definitely buy one of these if I needed a full tower ATX case. (And if I could afford it) Really great review with lots of details as well. :)
Brilliant review. this is the first case ive seen that actully makes me wanna upgrade. Thank you for the detailed strip down and fan mounting. cnt wait to see what you end up doing with it ;) will this case be available in the uk? Hope so.
A very thorough review.
as i use lots of normal harddives still this was one of the only cases i could find with enough drive bays but its great that if you dont need the bays you can remove them easily

thanks for your Video , this closed the deal on me getting this case, i ordered it a few days ago and i will get it next year lol im trying to find a this case with a full build
Awesome case, great review!
Totally agreed with you at 24:30. I bought a $44.99 Corsair Spec-01 case, drilled out the optical bays and stuck a 360mm medium sized radiator in the front. Tools? Power drill with 1/8" drill bit, that's it. If I want to re-install it I can use 6-32 or 8-32 or M4 machine screws to put it all back together. I think I bought 100 quarter-inch M4 machines screws for $3.99.
great review, Thanks Bill
I think I have fallen in love for Phanteks.
Great video!!! Love this case
hi Bill, i cant wait for one of your mods of this case . i own it myself and man im hitching to mod it too. : ) here goes the official request : Can you please modify this case? good luck, have a good one!
I got it without the window so I could cut my own custom window into it. Not everyone likes the stock look. It's the reason I buy cougar fans in bulk.. Love the orange look.
Great Case using it for my rig
I get the "right tool for the job" feeling about this case
Thanks for your content
Still going to do the Water Cooling walk through for the Entoo Pro build project?
Is it possible to install two 200mm fans at the top without removing [or seriously altering] the 5.25" bays? Also do they have to be phanteks brand of fans, or will any 200mm fan fit? Very informative video, I wasn't sure what case to get until I saw this.
best video and awesome case ! .
first build and this case was the best option
Question: on that front panel IO are there any wires coming from it for the Headphone and Microphone jack? I was un able to see them coming out where the wires route?
I currently have a NZXT Switch 810 that has 90mm space between the roof of the case and the edge of the motherboard. The Switch 810 also allows mounting fans under to top cover which makes push + pull possible with a 60mm radiator. (60mm rad + 25mm fan inside case + 25mm fan outside the case) What is the top clearance like in this case? I am considering changing my case but the lack of fan support underneath the top cover worries me a bit.
I saw a couple mods where they managed to put a 480 rad at the bottom but I have no clue where the power supply is.
Only thing I don't like about the case is that the dust filters in the front and top aren't as easy as the standard is now from Corsair or NZXT, Fractal Design, exc. The mounting holes in the center instead of a little offset doesn't bother me that much. But, for $100, no complaints.
It is already a very nice looking case, but when the 420 rad just "clicked" into place at the front it was damn sexy. lol Hard drives are easy enough to re-locate and who needs optical drives anyway? ;) It is VERY nice to see a case manufacturer build this much quality and this many options into a case at this price point. Plus it is awesome that after a few month they still haven't come to their senses and it can still be bought at $100! lol Oh yeah, I absolutely loved the Thermaltake comment. Well played, sir! :D
I couldnt afford the Enthoo primo and got a 350D and cut back on my system, this was before this case came out, wish I would have waited.
Just a heads up, Was checking on a second SSD mount and Phanteks sales reply stated on my question that parts will be able to be purchased at the end of the month. 6/14
Nice case and review.
Bill, Can you make a custom top panel that will permit the use of fans above the frame yet remain concealed under the top panel? Or, will the Enthoos Luxe top panel fit on the Pro since the Luxe has fans right under the top panel.
Hi, I'm getting ready to build a new PC, and I bought this case. Can I fit a 360 radiator in the top while keeping the optical drive bay??
Thanks for reviewing, may i ask that can u fit a 420 up top without removing the optical mount?
Is it possible to keep the optical bay cage without the side cage wall? If not, I'd love to cut through the bottom 2/3 of that side wall - it's probably the only part in the whole case that bothers me.
amazing review.
i love this case
Would one of the thicker radiators be obstructing the motherboard? after adding a thick fan too.
We who order the windowless version are the smart ones.. I'm sure I can speak for most of us when I say that we spend 10-15$ on noice-cancelling material to use with it, for a silent, yet very agressive looking case. with alot of room and great airflow.
I know you stated that it would fit a Black Ice 55 mm thick radiator; what about offerings from other radiator companies, such as XSPC's RX (version 2) series radiators @ 64 mm thick, or some of the Monsta radiators?
Awesome review
Ok I took out my hdd cages and 5.25 bays to install my evga 280 aio in the front for a traditional push/pull setup. Now i have a huge hole in front on my tower with no way to fill it. What can i do?
terrific video take it apart thats the way you learn how it works
Does the mounting bracket for the resivour come attached somewhere?I can not find it.
When will this be out on newegg? I saw the preorder but I don't wanna buy it now and wait a while for the shipping or ill buy it on new egg for a shorter shipping time.
So, can I fit around 50mm thick 420 in the front and a 57mm thick 360 in the top at the same time with the fans in the case ? Can you please check it ?
Can I still install and optical drive with a 280 aio mounted on top? Thx This is holding me u on ordeing all my build parts
Where would one install a Cooler Master Seidon 140V? CM say to put it on the back as input, but everyone seems to be installing theirs on the top. Also, is this a good cooler to do a push-pull config?
Can you fit a 40mm thick Radiator in push/pull in the top?
nice review
where do you plug the cpu fan if you plug the fan hub in to the cpu fan connector?
my plexiglass window didn't last long before it got scuffed up sadly. got it cheap on sale anyway
So they Changed the PWM hubb? I have the molex connected on my Primo. and can controll my fans.
love the rads :)
Bill, my PSU is actually a CM V1200 Platinum that measures 190mm long. It wouldn't fit with a 240 rad in the basement right? What a bummer. Because I also need 3 HDD bays, things have become complicated for me.
Can this case fit a 360 radiator on top without removing 5,25 bays ?
Still think it would be nice if that front filter came off in some other way than removing the whole bezel. I mean I'd pay $20-30 extra for that awesome case if some things like that were made more maintenance friendly. Part of that comes from currently owning a 600T, though I guess that bezel looks easier than the 600T's for removal. Also wouldn't mind some form of physical fan controller, as I don't generally use the PWM motherboard controls for anything beyond the CPU heatsink fan(s). Anyways nice review, always enjoy them(and your other videos), even though I'm not a modder
What are the thickest radiators you can mount at the top of this case?
hey, so i got a 240mm radiator at the top of mine but got to change some things, can i put it at the front? and then put the 200mm fan on top? thanks :)
Does anyone know if it's possible to run a 240mm rad closest to the front AND the 200mm fan alongside?
Bill Owen nice video !!!! Mai Q is on another model from them, they didn t answer at my maill ! On the ENTHOO LUXE TEMPERED GLASS can that cage (used for hard drives ) completly removed ? Like you did in this video. Thx man !
@Mnpctech_Giveaway_PC_Mods

No idea, I've never worked with tempered glass version, sorry.
Great case. I think DDR slots are smaller problems than massive motherboard heatsinks. I want to fit in a 360/45 rad in the top, but that will be really tight, maybe offsetting the rad to the 140 slots will help. I'm also really like the luxe, and with that you can fit fans under the to cover. But there's no release date for it. :-(
@1trueJ
10 жыл бұрын
You should probably just use one of Alphacool's 30mm full copper NeXxXoS radiators.
Hi bill, so can you *completely* disassemble this? e.g. so all the panel could lie flat? That would be awesome if that was the case. I would make traveling with it so much easier (and I need 4 GPUs so a full tower is required). Your video shows the front frame still mounted upright.. is that riveted in?
@Mnpctech_Giveaway_PC_Mods
5 жыл бұрын
everything riveted, and this isnt even a good case for 3 GPUs! I'd look at the Phanteks Enthoo Primo or Corsair 900D tower, thanks for watching, B @ mnpctech.com/
If i do not use PWM how do the fans that are plugged in there work if i am only using the CPU fan ??
Do u have to remove the hdd Cages to put a radiator in Front?
My case is starting to be dusty. Based on your experience, do you think I can remove the filters and Fans without dissamble my PC pieces? I don't want to rebuild my own PC, I hate touching or removing any pieces, always scared to scratch or break something. I remember when I installed the CPU I heard a CRRACK and my heart stopped for 5 seconds.. or insert the RAM with so much pressure that I am scared to break the mobo. Or inserting the mobo on the screwdrives and aligned with I/o shield and hear it scratch a bit on the screw and some pins of the io gets in the way so I have to do it a second time. Or the worst installing the freaking CPU cooler and guessing the right amount of pressure... worst 3 seconds of my life. You get the idea.
