I ended up purchasing this PC case thanks to your informative review, Joanne. A thorough and professional video. Heck I'm even rewatching it as I transfer my components from my old case to this one. Keep up the good work young lady.
This by far the best description and break down I've seen on this case. I just wanted to say great work and Thank You.
Just ordered this for my first build,can't wait.
Great, excellent review. Is the first review I see that shows how to take the case apart. Great job Joanne. We love you.

glad to see more cases are including fan hubs and modular case components.

Thank you! More videos to come weekly :D
I recently bought this case in white and it has a gloss finish which doesn't act as a fingerprint magnet. I've seen lots of reviews of this case and this is one of the best, if not the best, review I've seen. I've built in a number of cases and my experience with this case was the best. The current LED strip, which you buy separately, now has magnets which makes fitting much easier. As mentioned elsewhere in the comments, this case is heavy when completed, so if you need a case that has to be moved regularly, you'll need to consider that. All in all an excellent case.
great overview. I've watched videos featuring you on the NCIX channel, but didn't realise you actually have one of your own, until now. I really liked the level of detail in the demo/explanation here, the set's really good, and with the subjects covered, you show good understanding of the kinds of things a potential case-buyer who looks to this video might really want to know. I don't think this is the one I will go for, but I sure know plenty about it to better make that call, now. Very well done!

Joanne Tech Lover oh no, my mistake, sorry - I've watched a whole lot of these demo videos recently from various places and got confused. I meant Newegg :)
Btw best case review I've seen done,that's how they all should be,very detailed
This is a fantastic and detailed presentation of this case - your presentation is exceptional and fun and you really know your stuff. I am going to order this case it is obviously a phenomenally designed PC chassis just plain brilliant. Love your presentation skills.

Thank you for giving the top rad 65mm details. No other review had this and it really helped me decide to risk the EK 360 Pred as it is 68mm thick so a slight 3mm overhang over the MB should be fine.
lol the hurry up music when you were taking the case apart reminds me of my high school days where they would play it over the PA to make students think they were late for class.

Joanne Tech Lover Yeah,i really like this case,maybe for a x99 build.
It's great to see a case that can be taken apart for spraying.
Looks like this has been out a while, but great review. It really helped me because I have the tempered glass version, but it's so similar and I read the manual, but they leave out some details. Luckily I had this video to show me. The pop-off top vent was one they didn't illustrate too well in the manual. I bent it and pulled it off back first (luckily I didn't break it). I was also having trouble with the top and front panel because I was getting a lot of resistance removing them and was afraid to break something pulling too hard. Thanks again!
At the Start i wanted smaller case like the corsair air 540 but this is just such a bang for the buck, it has that sleek looking lighting and upgradability for watercooling in the Future definitly my next case! And nice Video too
"I wished it was going to be bigger than this"...she said Being old school I purchased this case, the full glass version, because I wanted water cooling yet still have my legacy(odd) bays for multi-card reader, USB 3.1 gen2 C and A ports and of course a BD\DVD\CD R/W. Nice review and you're very easy on the eyes.
amazing case phanteks has become one of the best case manufacturers from start! the luxe is also a case for all those who wanted a white Pro!

Hey Joanne, great ( indepth) review! Wow a lot of screws. You know you can magnetize the head of the driver very easily. Just get a magnet, and stroke the screw driver head in one direction a bunch of times and whala! Magnetized! Looks like a heck of a case. Will the motherboard you reviewd the other day fit? Uh ho do I see a build comming up? Keep up the great work.

Laochri If you have a pc currently, work your way through the upgrades as you can afford them. The case is a great way to save while you focus on the heart of the machine (mobo, cpu)... you can definitetly get by on a recycled case and hard drives! The ram, psu, and gpu can be upgraded over time too.

What chipset are you thinking of going with? I just built a computer from scratch recently, so feel free to message me if I can help!
Have this case sitting in box waiting for 5960x build, So much easier watching a video of how to take the case apart instead of reading manual(lazy), Especially when it is done so professionally by a beautiful lady. ;) I would remove the pre installed 200mm fan and replace with 2x140mm high static pressure led Phanteks fans they are only 19db so not loud, Give it a nice glow through the edges of that front rectangular bezel/plate and more airflow. Add another 140mm bottom led intake fan, Replace exhaust for led fan and add 3 led fans on top exhaust two of which you would hook up to your radiator. 1m strip is ample lighting the 2m is overkill and will ruin all the other lighting in your case such as mb, gpu or cpu block, But each to their own. Great video, Gained a sub! P.S. That table swivel is awesome.
Looks like another great case, but I absolutely love my Rosewill Rise Glow. It's extremely modder friendly too. It's very easy to convert into a reversed ATX layout with more water cooling depth or second PSU. The two are very similar, but I would still take the Rise Glow. This was one I had made a note of as well, but free space for 80mm thick rads came down to be the deciding factor. (You should already know how I feel about pretty ladies, such as yourself... selling their channels through their clothing or lack thereof from how I used to love how you were all business and very formal at the "Egg." You're pretty, sure; however, you don't need to dumb down your appearance for views, Your overviews are amazing.)

It certainly is a great case! I didn't know the Rise Glow was modder friendly! Is the Glow cheaper in price? Lol, I wear the same thing all the time, just different colors ;p. i love this case. so easy to build in wow such a relaxing experience compared to my other builds. very happy with my purchase. my only complaint is with my case a push pull 360 setup in the roof can cause the top mesh panel to rattle i fixed this problem by installing a fan controller as my fans are quite fast other then that amazing quality everything is sturdy amazing case i love it i highly recommend buying one :) on a side note joanne you havnt said pikachuuuuuu yet lol XD

Joanne Tech Lover I think its better than the Pro version because 1) the removable mesh up top, which you cant do with the Pro. The added SSD bracket 2 on the Luxe vs 1 on the Pro. 3)all aluminum front instead to the plastic front on the Pro, and 4) the LED lighting. =)
Love the music

Possibly! You'll just have to hang tight for that :D
I think I'm getting this case for my next build but the tempered glass version. It's got everything I want incl 5 1/2 inch bay. I hope I can hook up the lighting on the case, phanteks led strip to the 4 pin header on my new Asrock mobo with the view of syncing everything along with my Asus strix graphics card..and my RAM lol - Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass Window Black - ASRock Fatal1ty Z270 Gaming K6 Motherboard - ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1080 Strix Aura 8GB - G.Skill Trident Z RGB F4-3200C - Intel 600P Series 512GB M.2 SSD - NZXT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooler - Phanteks Multi Coloured LED Strip 2m - Phanteks RGB LED Adapter Cable Yes I did enjoy your review, a lot.
I own the : PH-ES614PTG... tempered glass, 2 140mm fans-front and rear, psu shroud, pvm hub which not all cases include, reservoir bracket and the rest is pretty much the same. I added an H60 cpu cooler plus the grommets make cable management easy if you know how to route your cables... let me know your opinion. Btw- very pretty
23:38 did you forget to plug in the connector so the LED did not light up in the front?

@teeblack06

the primo is just as nice but can fit bigger rads
To add to this video it would have been nice to show how easy it would have been doing a pc build especially the cable management. :-)
So you can you take apart the metal plate that hides the drive cages? I'd like it to be all open, but where can I fit my 2.5 ssd then?
Good review, helps me to choose the right PC case. However... 15:25 Fan Hub: "Be sure to plug in 4-pin header to CPU in order to control fan speed" Where would be the CPU Fan 4-pin connector plugged in then? Strange advice. Also i've read in customer reviews that there were cases when this hub was burned and that it even caused the MB to burn. I really wouldnt recommend using it. Use the simple pin-molex connector and connect your fans directly to PSU.
Bought this great case from PC-CaseGear here in Australia (seems to be only seller here) & bought the extra 2m lighting-strip. Might help by plugging in the connector for the front-panel led strip-lighting Joanne! Like all led strips they can shortened or segmented by cutting them anywhere at the point the leds are repeated every 3rd led, but my preference is to segment a few sections to optimise the the interior's lighting & connect by soldering extra 4-core wiring between them (might add connectors tho). &B^{D? Qu; why would anyone pay a US$42 premium by buying from Amazon?
I just bought this case but mine has two smaller fans in the front instead of one big one. I don't have the split window side either it is only one big one instead.

Nice Job Beautiful Lady !!!
Hi Joanne. I just got the Pro, but with the tempered glass window. 'Love your comprehensive break-down of this case (both this one and the Pro without the tempered glass). I do have 1 noob question, as this will be my 1st build. When you're talking about the fan controller, and that it needs to be plugged into the CPU fan header (else the fans will spin at full power), where do you plug-in the CPU cooler fan? Would it be in the white marked fan 1? Is it okay to plug this controller into another fan header, leaving the CPU fan to its own designated header? I have a MSI MPG B550 Gaming Edge WiFi mobo with a Noctua NH-C14S CPU cooler over a Ryzen 7 3700X (8-core), and will be running 5 fans (not including the CPU cooler).
nice case. cutie pie pig-tails. excellent review.

thank u joanne,u have game me reasons to buy this case, especially with description of case adds, i also ordered additional 1x 140mm phanteks ph-f140sp fan :), only need question to ask, this RGB lightning stripes come with the case, or were bought sepparatly?
Is it possible to remove te metal plate with the phantecs logo that hides your hard drives while keeping the mountings for the optical drives at the top?
I'm going to be ordering this soon, along with an NZXT Kraken x61 cooler. Would you advise me to scoot the pre-installed fan to the front area to make room for the radiator and 2 included fans towards the back, or install the radiator towards the front in the spot that's already available? (I'm speaking about the top of the case of course)
Great video. As already pointed out by another comment (I think the point may have been missed), it looks like there was an issue with reassembly since the Luxe has external LEDs that ALSO run vertically in addition to horizontally. To be honest it looks like the case is defective in your review due to the partial illumination. Can you please verify that it was the disassembly/reassembly that caused the vertical LEDs to not work? Thanks and once again great video!
@JoanneTechLover

Oh yeah, that's right...hmm I'll have to take a look at that later! It might have been due to disassembly!
The risk I took was calculated. But man I am bad at math. I bought this case not knowing how heavy it was. Had it in my room when I was building it, I noticed how heavy it was, but I just threw all the parts in it anyway (4930k, 3x Windforce 290x, Rampage IV Black, 2x 5.25 drives, 4x 3.5 drives, and 2x 2.5 drives... now I can barely lift the freakin' thing! It must weigh over 50 pounds now!
@speedevil22

I just got this case, and the exhaust fan blades were tumbling around the case :/ the mount and coil were still screwed on, but the blades were not.. I just put the blades back on the coil and it seems to hold. I think i'm gonna change it out anyways.
nice case.... I love full tower... you have more space to work with and I usually need a big case for my 6 HDD. (I always lack storage to need to add one more HDD each year lol). Compact cases are sometimes so pain in the arse to work with...

Joanne, did the accessories come with the case or did you have to purchase them separately? And real quick...which case would you recommend for my first gaming build, this one or the Thermaltake Chaser MK-1????
@JoanneTechLover
9 жыл бұрын
The big box of accessories are sold separately :). This case is newer, but apparently a lot of peeps still love the MK-1. And, I don't remember the MK-1 being very mod-ready.
I really wish they made this into a mid tower :( I love the size of the Pro but what the Luxe offers over the Pro is just too good for me. I wanted to downsize a bit from my original NZXT Phantom but this just has everything I want. Any suggestions for a mid tower similar to this? Already looked at the H440. The H440 and the Enthoo Pro are my only other options so far.

Well, I will probably at most get a closed loop watercooler for my CPU (curently using a Hyper 212 EVO), and get a second 780 to SLI. Also I currently have 1 HDD and 1 SSD, but I may get another one of each so 4 drives max. I'm also using a decently sized PCI sound card (Sound Blaster ZXR, although I'm using just the main card and not the daughterboard). So as long as a mid tower is able to fit all of that with good airflow, I'm happy. Plus I'm not that skilled or experienced when it comes to the finer points of PC building, so I probably won't delve into case mods just yet. I wanted to downsize for various reasons, but the Luxe really has me torn on that idea.
you should put a motherboard and CPU cooler and gpu in you're case reviews so we get an idea of how big or cramped it is

Imho it's kinda poor if it comes to rads installation options if you remember it's a full tower. From a full tower case I'd expect at least 280 on front and 280 on the bottom. Apart from 360/420 top ofc. Also, good job again, Joanne ;)

Ah okay! Pretty cool they have accessories though for just that extra touch. Their white cases look quite stunning.
Hey liked your video i was wondering i got this case because what it has and the price it is sold is really nice. My question is is this case loud or is it decent sound that the case gives off? This question also for anyone who owns or just knows if this brand or this case is somewhat quiet. Thanks in advance!!

The case is completely silent. It's made of metal. The components will make a noise though.
