No leveling should be necessary for this first boss. Keep attacking the boss with Chaz and the spawns with Hahn. You can also ignore the spawns completely and let Alys kill them alone, but with this strategy healing could become necessary.

    You know, you could have used Vortex and finised6it in 2 turns.
