Thanks, I'm hoping to do some studio based stuff at some point, just figuring out how to do it, as the music making side of things is quite personal, so I'd feel a bit weird working on proper tunes, but maybe some tutorials and q+a sessions might be the best way to go!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed them. I'll be doing some more in the next few weeks hopefully, probably slightly different format, but I will be on the microphone. This stream had visuals instead of cameras, so you couldn't actually see me, which is why I wasn't talking, this is just the recording of the cameras in my studio whilst I was doing it!

I'm using a Pioneer XDJ-RX!

Dont whant to sound stupid but i have to ask is this dubstep? What do you call it? No one makes this kind of music here in Gothenburg Sweden this is what i want to learn how to make myself! What equipment besides a computer do you recommend? Im serious this is The shit! Love it want to learn all about it peace and respect to all of you

This is a dubstep set as far as I'm concerned. I know the term has taken a bit of a detour over the years, but this is what it always was when I first got into it in 2005, and started producing tracks like it since then. Honestly, get a demo of Ableton Live or any other DAW and just get tinkering!

I think you just need to get some software and start playing with it. I think Ableton or Fruity Loops (or whatever it's called these days) are both good if you're starting without any kind of help from anyone, but Cubase/Logic etc aren't too hard to use either. Maybe download some demos of different ones and see which ones resonate with you. Watch some KZread tutorials and take it from there. Important thing is just spending time learning a bit more each day!
