Been listening to this guy for years....To produce something that delivers this kind of journey and vibe off the cuff is unreal. This stream backs up my opinion...... I remember hearing this for the first time back when it was released. I was lying on a bedroom floor and after an hour it felt like I traveled around the world twice. In a sense, it got me inspired me to start composing myself. Now I've released my first single and hopefully one day I'll get to a point where I can start streaming :) Thanks for the inspiration and looking forward to hearing more beautiful music from you!

I had too many 'bad encoders' on my MWXT, so I recently sold it and bought a Hydrasynth by ASM. Amazing piece of kit and capable of similar sounds and so much deeper programming. Anyway, hope things are good at your end. Just listened to "Whistling IDT yesterday" ...awesome

Yeah there's a bit of a backlog of planned albums, but I do have a giant folder of stuff which could be the basis of the next ambient one. Just got to get a few other projects finished first, but can definitely see one happening next year!

I'm slightly ashamed at just how many reverb pedals I've accumulated in recent years... I have the two big skys as was rehearsing for some live shows at the same time as finishing an album, and it was a nightmare having to move the pedal constantly. I've put one of them back on the pedalboard and there's a Oto Bam in place of the second bigsky on the mixer now!

@@stephennicholas7095 Yeah it's a really nice reverb, not quite as 'effected' as the big sky, but does some nice 80s sounding reverbs insanely well and still has the epic tails to get ambient with if you need to!

Hey this was great man , really cool to see all the stuff working and all. Enjoyed the "guitary" bits the most, that was class. Whats your delay your using for the delay loops?, I'm a big fan of ohm boyz VST delay, prob not as good as hardware but it's an awesome delay for messing about with .Nice one anyway

Glad you enjoyed it! I use Ohm Boyz loads on my older stuff and a fair bit still. I couldn't tell you what specifically the delay was coming from on this, I was mainly using a Volante, but the Timeline had a digital delay running, and there was an El-Cap delay too. There was also a delay I was using in the Kemper for the guitar, so I would imagine it was a crazy mix of all of the above!

Thanks Rusty, spent more time than I'd like to admit setting that side of things up... I just use OBS, but the transitions are with a plugin called 'Move Transition' which throws the various scenes around!

It's not something I normally do, and is made more complex by the way I made the track, it's across several projects, with endless different versions and parts kind of mixed together. The sessions made no sense to me at the time, and even less so now. I could probably go back to an earlier version and figure something out, but it would most likely sound so different that people wouldn't enjoy it. Maybe one day I'll give it a look...

Bought it off - ITunes ? - love listening to it in the car . "Simple" premise, but the way it builds is sublime and mesmerizing. If I were a more skilled musician and better with tech I'd try to build on it. Still grateful for it as it is .

I think it was just some random words thrown together, I normally just open books on random pages and mix up random words that stand out. I used to spend weeks coming up with song titles, so try to be a little less obsessive these days!
