    Hello Scott. I have a problem similar to this on my 307. Was it a bad earth cable to the chassis ? or bad earth strap from gearbox to engine? Thanks,Matt

    Hello scott I have a problem with my 207 1. 6 hdi my engine dies after a few km but not always, sometime at low speed just cut off or at idle, I cant find the problem it just shows p1351 but this code is for glow plug, I think it happends more often on warm weather, the battery looks fine above 13v, peugeot garage cant find anything they so dumb just did a check with obd and 1 ride around!!! Please help me Im going crazy with this car?!?!?

    say you never had a power probe. could you use a multimeter to measure voltage drop on the ground side?

    Hello thanks for watching The power probe would not see the volt drop The power probe showed the poor ground a standard multi meter would show the ohm reading but can't load test a bad ground

    Hello friends, can someone help me solve this exhausting problem? Namely, I have been driving the C3 1.4hdi in 2009. for about two years and since I bought it I have had a problem with it. The problem is that the car beeps and suddenly shuts off while driving (the engine shuts down) and reads errors such as (antipolution faulty, oil pressure faulty, air bag faulty, safety belts faulty ...) on the middle display. After that, I return the ignition and when I restart it, the car normally goes to the next shutdown. Sometimes it happens to me that when I start it after starting it, I lose the power steering. It happens that a week passes without it being extinguished, and when it starts to go out, it does so two or three times during the day. It was diagnosed and it did not show anything, that is, all parameters are excellent. One mechanic replaced my crankshaft sensor, after that it didn't turn off for a while and it started again, the other one replaced my BSM (Fuse box) so even after that replacement it didn't turn off for 12 days and it started to turn off again. I have noticed that when the weather is warmer then the extinguishing is more frequent. Thank you

    @@stevegreenaway9527 try a volt meter on the block when engine is running looking for 0 volts

    @@scottScottMechanics is this from battery live to the block? My car cut out a further 3 times last night no codes stored and when we stopped the car would start up as if nothing happened!

    could you not of actually showed us the fix? you have gone through the trouble of making the video so at least show us how you fixed it. That said though, good work on diagnosing the problem and getting it sorted

    Hello David yes kicking my self for that one Running the garage got sidetracked the chase ground to the gearbox and battery was slightly corroded thanks will try harder

    Hello Scott, Here is my peugeot 207 2007 fault diagnosis. what exactly is going on here and what's the exact problem? Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Engine control 1 - 5F8 / Motronic MEV 17.4 Status :P2134 - Accelerator pedal position sensor. Error Message : Open circuit/no signal. Error sporadic. Status :U0404 - CAN communication with transmission control. Error Message : Message not plausible. Error sporadic. Status :P0215 - Fuel shutoff valve. Error Message : Malfunction. Error sporadic. Status :P0343 - Camshaft position sensor. Error Message : Signal too large. Error static.Suspect intermittent fault with the camshaft position sensor. Thanks Richard

    Hello with out seeing the car myself its not easy to do diagnostic correctly saying that looks like a scope would be needed to check sensor wiring
