The wife and me also found an easy way to fix the stupid problems that her 206 had. We sold it and never got a peugeot again.

Had exact same issue and I lost some of the headlights too. We changed the fuse box under the bonnet and noticed that the original had badly corroded pins and some had snapped off hence headlight issue and the same warning things coming up. Make sure you buy the right part number as the first one I got was different enough to not fit. Will be ditching the Peugeot asap for anything not French. Previously had Renault Clio which also had loads of electrical issues on a low mileage car!

I have one and they are pretty fun to drive as long as you don't get the smallest possible one with around 75hp (1.4 8v KFV TU3A). Check some videos on youtube on all the points you need to check on a car before buying. Check that all the services were done on time (all less than 10k miles, preferably close to 5). IF not, do not buy. Check that it had the timing belt done, if above 80k miles do not buy, if below, haggle the price to 300 less as you must change it as soon as you buy the car. also on the top of this module he shows in this video pull the three plugs and check for water or you will have the same issue (so if water, do not buy or haggle price down to replace). Check coolant and engine oil for signs of head gasket failure (Obviously do not buy) and when you turn the car on check that it reaches temperature quickly and take it for a spin and check temperature because it might have the thermostat removed if its overheating. Check the AC is working and actually blows cold, if not haggle price as it will probably have a leak somewhere and you will have to fix it if you want cool air in the summer. If you do all these checks and they pass, do a service as soon as you get it, at least oil + oil filter and air filter. If you can, also change coolant, brake fluid and spark plugs so that you know they are new and feel safe.

Is a BCU the same as a BSI? Some people say the BSI unit goes bad on these cars, you say the BCU, I'm guessing both mean the fusebox assembly?

They could be, I’ve never heard of BSI, so could just be another name for the same thing

Try turning your radio off

Mate, I feel like I've been conned. First my clutch collapsed, then I got that fixed, then a environmental errors, then I now the steering wheel is playing up.

That can be the case, especially if you bought it off Marketplace… hopefully not and you’ve just been unfortunate. Happened to me shortly after I bought it too… haven’t had the best time with Peugeot…

Yeah I would say so

My fan stays on for 2 minutes every day after I turn my car of it drains my battery anyone else get the same problem

I would say it's a relay but your battery may be on the way out .
