Beautiful pictures of Painted Desert/Petrified Forest but seeing the national parks in person is still the best way to see them. Glad your cold/cough is gone. I think having Jax closer and petting him more often helped. I'm a big believer in the healing powers of our pets. Something about a cat's purr helps you sleep. Stay safe.

I see people give you grief about the stroller, but I like it, and I honestly don't see "what the big deal is", as far as the negative comments. I have begun using a similar model to take one of my dogs for a walk. She has a bad leg, and can't walk far at all. I am very glad to have picked up the idea from you.

Joey, I finally got to eat some cupcakes at a ladies' rock painting party. I ate four cupcakes. They are so so yummy. Now I remember why I don't eat them. It is too hard to stop once I get started. :/

When I was very young are family went out and I saw the canyons, the pert forest, somewhere out there is a place where you can see dinosors, the bones, I know its not far from where your at, I was like 7 years old, but never forgot it, asked my kids if they want to go out there, and they said its for old people, kind of hurt my feelings but one day I want to return, just something in my bucket list.. thanks for sharing Eric.. outstanding job as always.

My husband and I went through there in 95 in a 70 Chevy truck pulling a vintage 60s canned ham camper! Its such a beautiful place! It rained while we were there and the colors were really vibrant! So cool that you are able to meet up with Ausia , Joey and the others!

Eric, love watching your videos. You’ve come a long way with the quality and professionalism since you started. When I was in the service, stationed all over US and home base was California, we drove past all of the parks you just visited. Unfortunately out of 4 times going through, we never stopped. Always in too much of a hurry to get home and see family. I will start my on my journey in about a week and a half doing what you are doing. This time I will stop at all the places I missed back in the 70s and 80s. Keep it up with all the details, can’t wait for the next one. Hope to see you and Jax someday.

Arizona doesn't observe Daylight Saving Time but the Navajo Nation does.

correct. Then, while traveling east, you'll exit Navajo nation and the time changes again for 15 minutes until you hit New Mexico, and the time changes AGAIN. It's funny.

the reason the Navajo does is because there land covers 3 states. that way all of there area will be on the same time zone.

Getting the annual National Park Pass is the way to go to really get your money's worth over the year especially when you are on the move and can cover many of them. Great video!

I first saw the Petrified Forest som 60 years ago and can't help but to wonder how much of it has been carried away in a million tourists pockets since then? Your shots of the Painted Desert were great. In the old days 66 went right through both the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, no detour needed!

The ride for Jax was awesome! Glad he gets out more as I really do think he enjoys it to a certain degree. :) Also I agree with Diana so much. You've changed a lot just in the last year.
